Experiencing God!

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ!

Nothing compares to the surpassing greatness of knowing Jesus Christ our Lord! We are continuing to discover and experience the wonderful truth of being "In Christ" and yesterday the Father encouraged us with the following:

  • Jesus came to give us fullness of life. John 10:10
  • The believer has received fullness in Christ. Col. 2:10
  • Grace is God's unconditional gift to man. Eph. 2:8,9
  • God's grace abounds and overflows. 2 Cor. 9:8
  • The believer has received everything to reign in fullness of life! Rom. 5:17
  • However, many believers are not experiencingGod's fullness because of unbelief or displaced belief.
  1. Unbelief prevents the believer from entering into the fullness of grace and rest. Heb. 3:7-4:11
  2. Displaced belief is when the believer trusts in other things more than God's promises.
  • Location: Believers can believe that the fullness of God must be received elsewhere. However every believer can receive where they are. Psalm 139:5-12
  • Timing: Believers can believe that God wants them to wait for His fullness. However every believer can receive God's fullness now! 2 Cor. 6:1,2
  • Form: Believers can believe that they have to do something in a particular way to receive the fullness. However every believer can receive God's fullness by simply trusting in God and His Word. Gal. 3:3
  • Worthiness: Believers can believe that they have to "improve" before they can receive God's fullness. However every believer is worthy to receive because s/he is the righteousness of God in Christ! 2 Cor. 5:21; Heb. 10:10,14
  • Man: Believers can trust in God moving through a person rather than receiving directly from the Lord and trusting in Him. John 7:37,38; 14:1

Every believer can experience God's fullness if s/he simply trusts in God and His Word. James 1:5-8

In response to God's Word to us, we spent time entering into His rest and His fullness so that we could overflow with the grace He has poured into our lives.

Upcoming events:

28 November: Arise Shine! meetings with Voice in the City. Check here for details...

Quote of the week:

"God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all you need, you will abound in every good work." 2 Cor. 9:8

Receiving the Truth!

Praise be to God!

Since the Church has received Christ Jesus as Lord, God wants the Church to continue to live In Christ and be rooted, built up and established in Him (Col. 2:6). For the Church to realise the truth of her identity in Christ, she must have a conviction of the truth and realise the truth in order to demonstrate the truth. Only if the Church carries the conviction of being in Christ, will she rise up and be seated in the place of authority and power that she has received in Christ (Eph. 1:18-23; Col. 2:6 - 3:4)! Kingdom conviction is the faith that realises, reveals and releases the Truth. The Lord then showed us how the believer can receive Kingdom convictions. This is what He showed us:

Hear!
  • The believer needs to be exposed to the truth for it to influence him/her. Rom. 10:17

Receive!
  • The believer needs to receive the truth by first trusting it, even if s/he does not understand it.
  • To trust the truth is to submit to it.
  • To receive the truth is to be vulnerable and allow God's truth to do whatever He desires in one's life.
  • The believer must learn to receive the truth in His spirit before it is filtered by the natural mind.
  • Spiritual revelation of the truth is received in the spirit and then in the heart and mind. 1 Cor. 2:14

Search!
  • Once the truth is received, the believer needs to "search the scriptures" to ensure that there are two to three witnesses of the truth. Acts 17:11

Speak!
  • God created by speaking. Gen. 1:3; John 1:1-3
  • For Kingdom convictions to be formed or birthed in the believer, s/he must speak the truth over her life.
  • The believer's utterance has the power to create. Pr. 18:21

Dwell!
  • The believer must dwell on the truth and allow the truth to dwell in him/her. John 15:7; Ps. 119:11

Understand!
  • The believer must receive spiritual understanding of the truth for it to become a conviction that bears fruit. Mt. 13:11,23
  • The believer must depend on the Holy Spirit for spiritual understanding of the truth. John 16:12,13; 1 John 2:27

Apply!
  • If the believer has received the truth and understands the truth it will become a conviction that will determine his/her way of life (culture).
  • Convictions are only convictions when they affect the believer's lifestyle. Conviction without action is only an opinion!

We praise God for revealing His Truth to us so that Kingdom convictions are formed in our lives that determine our way of life to form Kingdom culture.

Quote of the week:

"The one who received the seed that fell on good soil is the man who hears the word and understands it. He produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown." Matthew 13:23

Revealing God's Glory

Glory to the God of miracles, signs and wonders!

We are excited! Last week God revealed His glory to us in many different ways and many different settings. Hallelujah! On Monday a group of us went to the streets of Frankfurt-Bockenheim, looking for opportunities to overflow with God by praying for the sick, speaking to the lost about God's love, caring for the poor and simply being available for the Holy Spirit to do His work through us. We praise God for the people He touched with His love and power!

On Monday and Tuesday evening part of our worship team joined Roy Fields for his 2 meetings in Frankfurt. The meetings were very powerful and many were saved and healed. Glory to God!

On Wednesday, a small group went to Frankfurt Airport to do a Bible study on "Gates" after which they prayed for the gates and spiritual portals of Frankfurt. God is calling us to take spiritual authority over the various gates and to prepare the ground for His glory.

"Lift up your heads, O you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of Glory may come in." Psalm 24:7

Yesterday we had another New Life Celebration to baptise a new life in Christ. Our Kingdom Kids also performed a powerful dance and gave testimonies about being "Knights of God's Kingdom." You can see the dance and pictures of the baptism here...

The Lord spoke to us yesterday about revealing His glory through our testimonies of the revelation of His glory - His presence, is power and His personality. This is what He showed us:

  1. When God reveals His glory to us, we become witnesses of His glory.
  2. That which we have witnessed of God's glory (His presence, power and personality) becomes our testimony (the word testimony comes from the Latin word, testis, meaning witness).
  3. God's revelation to us stirs us to worship Him (Rom. 11:33-36) and be witnesses of His revelation to us (Acts 22:1-21).
  4. The Bible is a testimony of God's personality and power and is divided into the old testimony and the new testimony.
  5. The Holy Spirit quickens the testimony of God and makes it a present reality because God is the same yesterday, today and forever (Heb.13:8).
  6. The testimony of God is the spirit of prophecy. Rev.19:10
  7. When we testify of God's revelation of His glory to us, we release the power of God with the potential to change people's lives if people believe - faith realises God's past revelation and makes it a present reality!

We praise God for the people who have received healing, salvation and deliverance because they believed our testimonies of God's revelation of His glory to us! Hallelujah!

Yesterday evening we had another opportunity to overflow with God as we ministered to the poor and needy at our monthly homeless mission. Glory to God for the lives that are being changed because they are being touched with God's glory through us! Thank you Lord!

Quote of the week:

"... the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy." Rev. 19:10

More of His Glory!

Praise the Lord!

God is continuing to teach us about seeing His glory and He is revealing Himself to us more and more. On Sunday God spoke to us about encountering Him in the fullness of His glory - His love, His compassion, His faithfulness, His forgiveness, His mercy (Ex. 33,34) to allow Him to replace any distorted views of Him that are based on our own experiences in life rather than on His revelation of Himself. Where we have experienced unfaithfulness and failing love in our relationships, a barrier of fear is formed that hinders us from seeing God's true faithfulness and unfailing love. Therefore the Lord encouraged us to seek His glory in order to remove any hindrances of fear so that we will walk in confidence and boldness in His love and faithfulness. We praise God for the many lives that were touched and healed as we encountered God's love and faithfulness! Hallelujah!

We are very pleased and blessed to have two students from Kingdom Faith College (Horsham, England) with us. They are a great team supporting the exisiting ministry of KLF and also being part of some other exciting ventures that have included street evangelism, prayer walking in Frankfurt, helping the poor and needy, and simply being a great blessing to us and this city! We praise God for Kingdom Faith College and the excellent work they are doing.

This week part of our worship team joined Roy Fields for 2 meetings held at CZF, organised by Healing rooms Deutschland e.V. The meetings were very well attended and many were blessed by God's presence and power.

This Sunday @ 3pm we will be meeting in the Evangelisch Freikirchliche Gemeinde Frankfurt-Nordwest for another New Life Celebration! Please click here for more info...

5th July: Homeless mission - an opportunity to feed the poor spiritually and physically and to overflow with the love of God.
4th July: International Family Day - a fun day out for everyone on the Lohrberg from 14h00 - 20h00 with food, games, face-painting, entertainment and more!
5th July: New Life Celebration - we will be meeting together and baptising believers at the Baptist church in Eschersheim (Haeberlinstr.3) on that Sunday.
27th July - 10th August: No church meetings - most of KLF will be at Faith Camp in Peterborough, England. More details here...
15th August: Jesus March in Frankfurt - more details here...
21st - 23rd: Prayer Workshop with Les and Dot Mitchell, pastors of Kingdom Faith London @ Treffpunkt Leben.

Quote of the week:

"God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment, because in this world we are like him. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear..." 1 John 4:16-18

Stirring the Spirit of Faith

Glory to God!

The Lord is taking us from glory to glory and He is doing awesome things in us and through us! Yesterday's meeting was very powerful as God spoke to us about how to see His glory. This is what He showed us:

  1. To be saturated with God we need to see His glory.
  2. To see God's glory we only need to believe. John 11:40
  3. To believe God is to trust Him and have faith in Him. John 14:1
  4. Faith is therefore trust.
  5. Trust is something (substance - Heb. 11:1 KJV) that is given to us (2 Peter 1:1) that does not need to be added to but strengthened (Rom. 4:20).
  6. Trust is strengthened as the believer receives revelation from God of His glory (Matt. 16:13-17: His personality, presence and power) by the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 2:10).
  7. Trust that is strengthened by revelation fuels obedience. Isaiah 6:1-8; 2 Cor. 5:11, 14
  8. Revelation stirs the spirit of faith unto obedience. 2 Cor. 4:13

In response to God's Living Word, the church trusted God's word in Luke 11:9-13 and everyone was filled with the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah! We praise God for the healings, the revelation, the infilling, the Glory, the stirring and the abundantly more than we can ask or imagine that He is gracing us with! Glory to the King of kings!

Quote of the week:

"Then Jesus said, 'Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?'" John 11:40

Reflecting the Glory!

Praise be to the God of glory!

It's been another awesome week with God! Hallelujah!

The Lord is binding us together as a people and on Saturday IMPACT! (KLF youth) and Kingdom Kids (KLF children) had a wonderful day away together at an amusement park. Relationships are being formed and strengthened, establishing us as a church family more and more. Praise God!

Yesterday the Lord spoke to us about how to be saturated with Him to overflow with Him and this is what He showed us:

  1. If we are to be saturated with God, we must see His glory.
  2. Moses saw God's glory. Ex. 33:12-23
  3. God's glory is everything He is; His nature, His power and His presence. Ex. 33:19; 34:6,7
  4. Moses was saturated with God and overflowed with Him as he reflected God's glory. Ex. 34:29
  5. King David saw God's glory. Ps. 63:2
  6. David saw God's glory and received a revelation of God's love. Ps. 63:3
  7. Jesus saw the Father's glory. John 1:18
  8. Jesus could reveal the Father because He saw the Father's glory. John 17:6
  9. Stephen saw God's glory. Acts 7:55,56
  10. Stephen overflowed with God's nature because He had a revelation of God's glory. Acts 7:60
  11. The Apostle Paul saw God's glory. Acts 9:3
  12. Paul lived from God's revelation to Him. Gal. 1:11,12,16; 2:2
  13. God wants us to see His glory! John 17:25,26

The Lord then showed us why we can see His glory:

  1. In Christ, God knows us by name and His favour is upon us!
  2. In Christ we have acces to the throne of glory! Heb. 4:16
  3. By God's Spirit we have access to the spiritual realm. Rev. 1:10
  4. The door in heaven is open to enter. Rev. 4:1
  5. We no longer fall short of God's glory! Rom. 3:23; Ps. 24
  6. God reveals Himself to us by His Spirit whom we have received! 1 Cor. 2:10
  7. God wants to reveal His glory to us so that we will reflect His glory! 2 Cor. 3:18; 4:6

In order to see God's glory:

  1. We must believe. John 11:40
  2. We must pray for spiritual revelation. Eph. 1:17; 3:14-21
  3. We must fix our eyes on Jesus and worship Him in spirit and truth. John 4:24; Heb. 3:1; 12:2
  4. We must seek revelation of the Living Word as we absorb the Word of God and reflect on it. John 5:37-40; 2 Tim. 2:7

After the Lord spoke to us about seeing His glory, we entered into a profound time of worship as we encountered Him. Hallelujah!

Having been saturated with God, we then ministered to the poor and needy at our monthly homeless mission where we could overflow with God's glory - His presence, power and love! Praise God!

This week two students from Kingdom Faith College will be joining us for their five week student placement. We are blessed to be connected spiritually and practically with Kingdom Faith in England! Click here for more info on Kingdom Faith and Kingdom Faith College...

Quote of the week:

"And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit." 2 Cor. 3:18

Living the Kingdom life

Glory to God!

It has been another exciting week with God! Hallelujah!

On Saturday, the KLF worship team joined Suzette Hattingh and Gayle Claxton of Voice in the City for their Arise Shine! meetings that the Lord is using to equip the Body in Frankfurt with His truth, His presence and His power.

Yesterday KLF had another New Life Celebration as we celebrated new life in Christ through baptism. You can see pictures of the meeting here. The Lord spoke to us about our lives in Him and this is what He showed us concerning living the Kingdom life:

  1. The believer has been rescued from the kingdom of darkness and has been brought into the Kingdom of God. Col- 1:13
  2. The believer has been reconciled to God and is made one with Him. Rom. 6:3-11; 2 Cor. 5:18-20; Col. 3:1-3; John 17:20,21
  3. The believer has been regenerated and has received a new life in Christ. John 1:12,13; 3:3-8; 1 Pet. 1:23; 2 Cor. 5:17
  4. The believer is to remain in Christ. John 15:4-8
  5. The believer is to realise the truth by faith. Gal. 2:20; John 14:20
  6. The believer is to reveal the person of Christ in him/her through obedience. 1 John 4:12; John 3:30; 14:23
  7. The believer is to release the power of Christ by doing the works of Jesus. Eph. 1:19; 2:10; Mt. 28:20

"They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor." Isaiah 61:3

We praise God for His continuing revelation to us! Glory to Him!

This coming weekend we will have another exciting opportunity to bless the poor and needy as we share God's presence, power and love with them.

Quote of the week:

"I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." Gal. 2:20

Dwelling in the secret place

Hallelujah!

It's been another exciting week with God! Glory to Him!

Yesterday the Lord spoke to us about dwelling in the secret place and this is what He showed us:

  1. God wants us to spend time alone with Him. Matthew 6:6-8
  2. The place of intimacy with God is the secret place. Psalm 91:1,4,9
  3. God longs to gather us under His wings. Luke 13:34; Palm 91:4
  4. God wants us to dwell and abide in Him. Psalm 91:1,9
  5. The secret place is a place of rest in God and can only be entered into by faith and obedience. Heb. 4:1-13
  6. As we enter God's rest, He overshadows His children. Matthew 17:1-8; Luke 1:35-38
  7. To dwell in the secret place is to live in God and allow Him to overshadow us. Col. 2:6,7; 3:1-4
  8. When God overshadows His children, they receive power to heal. Acts 5:14-16

We praise God for His awesome revelation to us! Hallelujah!

We are looking forward to ministering to the poor again this Sunday and we expect to see Jesus heal, save and deliver people as He overshadows them!

Quote of the week:

"He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." Psalm 91:1 (KJV)

Faith - the substance of prayer!

Hallelujah!

We are excited! The Lord is teaching us to pray and we're already seeing wonderful results! Glory to God. We are increasingly experiencing the weight of His glory and yesterday two people testified to having being healed during the meeting! Faith is growing and we're expecting the Lord to do even more signs, wonders and miracles this year! Hallelujah!

Yesterday the Lord spoke to us about the substance of prayer - FAITH. Looking at the examples of Abraham (Gen.18:20-33), Moses (Ex.32:7-14) and the woman who suffered from bleeding (Mark 5:24-34), the Lord showed us how Abraham trusted in God and appealed to His nature; Moses trusted in God and appealed to God's promises and the woman trusted in Jesus and believed in His will to heal her. The Lord then showed us how both Abraham and Noah trusted in God despite the natural circumstances (Rom.4:17-24; Gen.6). Therefore,

Faith is acting upon our trust in God and our knowledge of His purposes despite the circumstances!

We praise God for the healings, for spiritual understanding and for the faith that connects heaven and earth! Hallelujah!

Quote of the week:

"...without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." Hebrews 11:6

The Key to the Kingdom

Praise be to God Almighty!

The Lord is preparing us for breakthrough! He is speaking very clearly to us about our identity, purpose and goal (see last week's news)!

Yesterday the Lord showed us how our identity, purpose and goal are linked with the key to the Kingdom - AUTHORITY! This is what He revealed to us:

  1. God has revealed Himself as the triune God - 3 co-equal persons but 3 different roles!
  2. Within the Trinity is a distribution of roles and authority.
  3. Jesus is the Son of the Father (identity) and therefore under His authority. Matthew 3:17
  4. Jesus demonstrated His submission to the Father's authority by being completely obedient to Him in order to reveal the Father (purpose). Matthew 4:1-10; John 14:6-11
  5. Jesus could exercise authority over all the power of the devil (goal) because the Son lived under the Father's authority! Luke 4:14; John 14:11; 1 John 3:8; Acts 10:37,38

Likewise,

  1. The Church (God's children) has many co-equal members but many different roles. 1 Cor. 12:12
  2. Within the Church is a distribution of roles and authority. 1 Cor. 12:27; Eph. 4:7,11
  3. We are sons and daughters of God (identity) and therefore under God's authority. Eph.1:22,23
  4. We are to live as sons and daughters of God in submission to His authority and to reveal Him (purpose). Eph.5:1,2,8
  5. We can only exercise authority if we live in submission to God's authority. James 4:7

The Lord then challenged us with the following:

  1. There is a difference between obedience and submission.
  2. Obedience is responding to a command.
  3. Submission is choosing to obey and "positioning oneself under."
  4. Children are to obey their parents because the immature are not yet able to make right choices. Eph. 6:1-4
  5. Adults are expected to submit to one another because the mature are able to make right choices. Eph. 5:21,22; 6:5
  6. God places authority in our lives for us to learn true submission (spiritual leaders, husbands, fathers, government leaders, police, masters, bosses etc).
  7. Our attitude toward earthly authority reveals our attitude toward heavenly authority!
  8. We deceive ourselves when we think we can submit to God and not submit to God-given authority!
  9. We can only serve one master (Matthew 6:24). Therefore one is either single-hearted or one has a divided heart.
  10. We are called to serve God whole-heartedly. Eph. 6.5-9
  11. True submission is choosing to obey God whole-heartedly. Eph. 6:5-9

The Lord then showed us what hypocrisy is..
  1. Hypocrisy is the veiling of a divided heart.
  2. A divided heart is able to obey (externally) but still not be submitted (internally).
  3. Hypocrisy manifests itself through:
  • deception- convincing oneself that one has obeyed God when one hasn't (1 Sam.15:13)
  • self-justification - justifying one's disobedience (1 Sam.15:20,21)
  • blame - blaming others for one's disobedience (1 Sam. 15:24)
  • sacrifice - trying to cover up disobedience with good works (1 Sam. 15:15)
The Lord has set His people apart (identity) to reveal Himself through them as they live their lives in wholehearted submission to Him (purpose) in order to penetrate the kingdom of darkness with God's authority and establish the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven (goal)!

This Sunday we will be having a Christmas celebration with the homeless and needy, sponsored by the NH hotel group. It will be a wonderful evening!

Quote of the week:

"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armour of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." Eph. 6:10-12

The Church and the Kingdom of God

All glory belongs to our King!

We are in awe of what God is doing and what He is showing us. Yesterday He gave us the following prophecy:

I am preparing you for breakthrough!

The Lord then gave us insight into where He is taking us and how we will get there by teaching us the difference between identity, purpose and goal. This is what He showed us:

  1. In the world one's identity is based on what one does. Our purpose becomes our identity.
  2. In the Kingdom one's purpose is based on one's new identity in Christ. Our identity becomes our purpose.
  3. Our goal is to fulfill God's will on earth as it is in heaven.

Looking at Matthew 16:13-19 the Lord showed us that,

  1. We need a spiritual revelation of who God is and who we are in Him. Matthew16:17,18
  2. God builds His Church with Man. Matthew 16:18
  3. Jesus builds His Church. Matthew 16:18
  4. The Church that Jesus builds will penetrate the kingdom of darkness. Matthew 16:18
  5. The Church has been given the keys to establish God's Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. Matthew 16:19

Therefore KLF's identity, purpose and goal is as follows:

  1. Identity - sons and daughters of God, the people of God, the Church, the Body of Christ, the revelation of God on earth as He is in heaven. Gal. 3:26,27; Eph.1:22,23; 1 John 4:17
  2. Purpose - to live as sons and daughters of God, the people of God, the Church, the Body of Christ, and to reveal God on earth as He is in heaven. Eph. 3:10; 4, 5
  3. Goal - the goal of the Church is to "uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow" the kingdom of darkness and to "build and plant" the Kingdom of God. Jer.1:10; Eph. 6:10-20

God is setting His people (identity) apart to reveal His glory (purpose) and to destroy the kingdom of darkness by establishing God's rule and reign on earth as it is in heaven (goal).

Yesterday evening we had another wonderful opportunity to minister to the poor and needy in Frankfurt. It's just awesome to see how people change as they encounter God through worship, the Word and love. God's Light penetrates the darkness and gives people hope, love, strength and healing! Hallelujah! What a wonderful God we serve!

Quote of the week:

"His (the son of man's) dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed." Dan. 7:14

Seeking God's Face

Praise God!

This past week has been profound, ground-breaking and very significant. We have been extremely blessed to have Richard Maybery visit us and take us through a series of teaching on Seeking God's Face: living from the inside out. The essence of what God was showing us is how He wants His people to move from Eros to Agape; from man-centredness to God-centredness; from living for self to living for God (the sessions have been recorded and are available at KLF). Having Richard visit us for a whole week always takes us to a new level of intimacy and encouter with God but also a renewed zeal and passion for God and His purposes are imparted! Hallelujah!

Yesterday's meeting was awesome as we met with God and He spoke to us through Richard about the Spirit-shaped life. The Holy Spirit then ministered to each of us as Richard prophesied over us and we received from the Lord.

We are excited that doors are beginning to open up for KLF to serve the Church and the people of Frankfurt. We now have 2 regular slots every month to serve the poor and needy and the Lord is giving our worship team opportunities to minister to the Church in Frankfurt next year at different events.

We praise God for Divine relationships that He orchestrates for His purposes! Hallelujah!

Quote of the week:

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails." 1 Cor. 13:4-8

New Life Celebration

Glory to the God of peace!

These are truly exciting times! The Lord is raising, building and equipping His people to manifest His presence, power and personality! Through the cross we are reconciled to God and to one another! Hallelujah!

Yesterday the Lord spoke to us about not only being reconciled to Him and to one another, but also about how He wants us to be reconciled with ourselves! Looking at the account of Mephibosheth, the Lord showed us how we can grow up with a wrong identity because of not knowing and believing in the covenant God has already made with us by His blood. When we base our identity on our weaknesses and what man and Satan say about us, we become spiritually crippled and cannot walk in the fullness of what God has given us! The Lord wants His people to live out of the covenant He has made with His people. He wants us to live from our new identity in Christ and how God sees us. As God has forgiven us in Christ, so we must forgive ourselves and walk in the blood-bought freedom and identity God has given us. We must be reconciled with ourselves!

We praise God for His amazing work in drawing people to Himself and yesterday we celebrated another new life in Christ through baptism. The Lord is changing lives as we encounter Him and many are testifying to the wonderful work of the Holy Spirit in their lives during and outside our meetings! Hallelujah! You can view pictures taken on the day at http://www.dropshots.com/KLFPhotomosaic

This week is going to be amazing. God's favour is upon us and we sense that God is about to do an even deeper work in us through the ministry of Richard Maybery. You can see the schedule of this week's "Seeking God's Face" meetings at http://www.kingdomlife-frankfurt.com/resources/Maybery.pdf.

The Lord wants us to know Him so that we can make Him known! Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings and we will be translating the meetings into German for any German-speaking guests.

Quote of the week:

"Jesus replied: 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbour as yourself.'" Matthew 22:37-39

The Keys of the Kingdom

Praise God!

Having a church in Frankfurt means we have the exciting privilege of being a connecting point for many believers and ministries across the globe. Almost weekly we have guests from all over the world who are passing through Frankfurt and have chosen to worship with us. The Lord is using us to build a network of contacts to further His Kingdom. Hallelujah.

Yesterday we had a guest from Australia, Chris Peterson, who has come to Frankfurt for a week with his team in response to a prompting from God. Chris encouraged leaders and pastors at the monthly international pastors' meeting on Saturday with key principles that will help the churches in Frankfurt establish the Lord's rule and reign in this city. Chris has a heart to see churches and leaders move from a tribal mentality to a Kingdom mind-set and the Lord has graced him to impart some important biblical truths to set leaders free from maintaining to conquering.

Yesterday Chris spoke to us about the keys of the Kingdom (note: not the keys of the Church) and how we as believers have been given the keys that represent God's authority and power to release Heaven on earth. Chris also reminded us of the fact that Jesus is coming back for a bride that is radiant, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless (Eph. 6:26). That means that by grace, through the blood, with His Word and by His Spirit we, the Church, are more than conquerors (Rom.8:37) and are enabled to bring Heaven on earth as we further His Kingdom using the keys of the Kingdom! Hallelujah!

This Saturday, David Rowe (KLF worship leader), will be leading our next EQUIP seminar and workshop on worship and encountering God. KLF is arranging EQUIP meetings to help the people of God know God and make Him known. We are excited about this week's meeting as it will help KLF and visitors to not only learn about God but to also encounter Him. David is an anointed worshipper with the grace upon his life to usher God's people into His presence. In order to bless our German speaking brothers and sisters we are providing translation.

God is adding to our number and it was amazing to see so many different nationalities together in one place, worshipping God together. We had people from Germany, England, Scotland, Camaroon, India, Australia, South Africa, Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, Korea, and China, just to mention a few. Jesus is truly the barrier breaker who is building His Church to establish His Kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven (Eph. 2:11-22). Hallelujah!

Quote of the week:
"It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ." Eph. 4:11-13

Honouring God with a Spirit of Generosity

Thanks be to God for the riches of His grace that he has lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding!

This week has been another awesome time with God. He is truly anointing our meetings together whether on the streets of Frankfurt or our midweek meetings. The Lord is moving the Church inside out and yesterday we joined several hundred people to march through Frankfurt and proclaim the name of Jesus. We were privileged to be able to have our worship team kick off the march as they filled the inner city of Frankfurt with songs of proclamation and worship. Hallelujah! Click here for more details..

The Lord is revealing His glory to the world through His Body, the Church!

The Lord is continuing to show us what it means to honour Him and today we looked at 2 Corinthians 8:1-9 and the Lord showed us the following:

The Macedonian churches demonstrated a spirit of generosity by,

  1. Living out of the grace they had received. 8:1; Eph. 1:6-8
  2. Living according to the riches of God's spiritual blessings rather than their circumstances. 8:2
  3. Overflowing with joy and welling up in rich generosity because of God's favour and their identity in Christ (generous means "of noble birth"). 8:2
  4. Living sacrificially by going the extra mile. 8:3
  5. Taking initiative and not waiting for instructions. 8:3
  6. Being desperate to serve. 8:4
  7. By doing the unexpected. 8:5
  8. By completing the task. 8:6,11
  9. By excelling. 8:7
  10. By fixing their eyes on Jesus as their example of ultimate generosity. 8:9; Phil. 2:5-11

We honour God when our lives overflow with the riches of God's grace!

This coming week the KLF leaders will be attending the Kingdom Faith Leadership Conference in Horsham, England.

We are also excited about the upcoming EQUIP seminar on the 11 October when David Rowe will be teaching KLF and guests to encounter God in true worship.

Quote of the week:

"For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich." 2 Cor. 8:9

Honouring God

"Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honour and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!"

We've had an awesome week! We're continuing to meet on Tuesday evenings with other believers to worship the Lord and prayer walk on the streets of Frankfurt. We're experiencing an ever increasing stirring in the spirit realm that is both releasing God's presence as well as manifesting resistance which is a clear indication that the Kingdom of God is advancing! Hallelujah!

The Lord's favour is upon the men of KLF as we meet on Fridays for breakfast, encouragement and prayer. God is speaking very clearly to the men and we are sensing the Lord establishing us for greater things to come. We believe that God the Father is raising up sons who will be released to be the spiritual fathers He has called us to be in the family, church, city and nation!

This weekend we were visited by two leaders from Kingdom Faith (Horsham, England) who came to continue to establish our covenant relationship with Kingdom Faith. Pastor Jonathon Dyke and Pastor Gary Rumbold spent time with the leadership of KLF as well as the church to build, encourage and release us into new realms with the Holy Spirit. We are excited about relating to Kingdom Faith and benefiting from what God is doing in His Body in that nation.

Yesterday's meeting was very interesting as we began to explore some of the new things that God was showing us over the weekend. The Lord then spoke to us about what it means to glorify Him and showed us the following:
  1. To glorify God is to honour God and the Lord wants us to be as zealous as He is about His honour! Numbers 25:10-13
  2. To honour God is to reflect in the natural what we believe we have received in the spiritual! Rom. 15:26,27
  3. We cannot change self to become more like God because it has been crucified and is dead! Gal. 2:20
  4. We can only reflect God if we reflect on Him and not on self! 2 Cor. 3:7-18
  5. In order to become a revelation of God, we need a personal, spiritual revelation of Him!

We praise God for continuing to reveal Himself to us through His Spirit and His Word!

Next week KLF will be meeting in the building of the Baptist church in Eschersheim from 3pm - 5pm!

Quote of the week:

"And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit." 2 Cor. 3:18

Dying to self and living to God!

Praise God!

This past week has been awesome! On Tuesday we met with other believers to worship the Lord on the streets of Frankfurt and we are noticing how passers-by are beginning to have an increased interest in what we're doing. People from the streets, who have experienced a touch from God, are bringing friends and family to meet with God! Hallelujah!

On Friday morning the men got together for breakfast, a word of encouragement and prayer. It was a very special time and we're sensing that the Lord is going to use this weekly meeting to do great things with the men of KLF and to influence others for the Kingdom!

Today's meeting was profound as we met with God in worship even before the meeting usually starts! The Lord is continuing to anoint our musicians with new songs and we're excited about how He is blessing us with His presence and glory as we worship Him! Hallelujah!

The Lord spoke to us today about the following:

  1. By God's grace we have received the very gift of God Himself! 2 Cor. 13:5
  2. By God's grace we have received Christ, the wisdom of God and the power of God! 1 Cor.18-24
  3. By God's grace we have become nobility and have received God's wisdom and power to shame the wisdom and the power of the world! 1 Cor. 1:27
  4. It is God's will to glorify His name through us! Ezek.36:22-28

The Lord then showed us that the two main hindrances to seeing God's glory are a wrong understanding of the difference between grace and faith (see last week's word to us) and the flesh or the self life. He then showed us the following:

  1. The flesh cannot glory in God's presence! 1 Cor. 1:28-31
  2. God's glory is revealed through death to self! 2 Cor. 12:9,10
  3. We are to die to self and live to God! Gal.2:20; Phil.1:21; Col.3:3,4; 2 Cor.5:15; Rom. 6:4-10

Everything we do must be motivated by a desire to glorify God and not self.

The Lord then gave us 7 ways to ensure that we remain weak in order to reveal His glory! We must:

  1. Humble ourselves
  2. Check our motivation
  3. Place our confidence in Christ and not in methods or even our faith
  4. Overcome fear by trusting in God rather than in self - fear is the fruit of self-consciousness; boldness is the fruit of God-consciousness!
  5. Risk looking foolish and weak to reveal God's wisdom and power!
  6. Practice "secret obedience"!
  7. Practice pointing to God

We sense that God is preparing KLF for an even greater manifestation of His glory and we are excited that God will confirm His Word to us as we die to self and live for His glory!

Next weekend we will be visited by Jonathon Dyke and Gary Rumbold - two leaders from Kingdom Faith, England.

Quote of the week:

"Do you not realise that Christ Jesus is in you?" 2 Cor. 13:5

1st Birthday!

Glory to God!

Yesterday we celebrated our first year together. We praise God for His faithfulness and His favour and for all He is doing in and through us as His people. Hallelujah!

The Lord is speaking to us about suffering and what it means to suffer for remaining in Him; for responding by the Spirit and for risking for His glory. Looking at Acts 3:1-16; 4:13-20, the Lord revealed to us that the believers risked for God's glory by stepping out in faith for the sake of others and for God's glory because they were courageous (Acts 4:13). We then saw that they were courageous because:

  • They were connected to Jesus (Acts 4:13)
  • They were compelled (Acts 4:20; 2 Cor. 5:14)
  • They were convinced (2 Cor. 4:13; 5:14)
  • They were competent (Acts 3:12; 3:16; 2 Cor. 3:4-6; 1 Cor. 1:25-31)

In the evening we provided spiritual and physical food for the poor and needy and rejoiced in God's provision in giving KLF a gift of opportunity to glorify His name! Thank you Lord!

We praise God for an awesome first year. The Lord is fulfilling the vision He gave us right from the beginning and we are excited to keep in step with Him as we know where we're headed if we keep up with Him! Hallelujah!

Quote of the week:

"He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant - not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills but the Spirit gives life." 2 Cor. 3:6

Walking in the Spirit

You are amazing, Jesus!

As the Lord takes us to the deep part of the River of Revival (Ezekiel 47:5) He is showing us how to walk in the Spirit. We are learning that as born-again believers, born of God (John 3:3; 1 John 5:1), we are in this world but not of this world; we are in the body/flesh but not of the body/flesh (John 17:14-19; Gal. 2:20; 2Cor. 4:16-5:10; 1 Peter 1:13). Therefore, having been set free from the power and influence of the world, the flesh and the devil, the believer has the freedom to choose life or death; a life according to the flesh and the world or the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:5,12-14). The Lord is showing us that we need to do 3 things if we are to walk in the Spirit and grow in Him.

  1. Position. We need to position ourselves so that we are free to make right choices.
  2. Deny self. We need to recognise the will of self and the flesh and not give in to its desires.
  3. Follow. We need to discern the Holy Spirit's will and follow Him.

By exercising PDF (positioning oneself, denying self and following the Holy Spirit), we will practice the presence of God as we continuously fix our minds on what the Spirit desires. This abiding in the Spirit and learning to yield to Him helps the believer not only to grow in the Spirit but also to release the presence and power of God. Hallelujah!

Yesterday we had another wonderful opportunity to feed the poor and to bring the Kingdom of God into their lives. It is such a blessing to see people respond to God's presence and we are delighted that 2 more people gave their lives to Jesus yesterday and will be baptised at our next New Life Celebration on the 6 April! Glory to God!

We praise God for adding to our number but most of all we are thrilled with what God is doing in us and through us. He is truly taking us into the deep end in our worship and our walk with Him. Thank you Lord!

Quote of the week:

"This practice of the Presence of God is somewhat hard at the outset, yet pursued faithfully, it works imperceptibly within the soul most marvellous effects; it draws down God's grace abundantly, and leads the soul insensibly to the ever-present vision of God, loving and beloved, which is the most spiritual and most real, the most free and most life-giving manner of prayer." Divine Capacity!

Glory to Abba, Father!

This past week has been another awesome and exciting time with God! The Lord is revealing more and more of Himself to us in our meetings.

Yesterday the Lord spoke to us about Divine Capacity - the spiritual ability to receive and to release God's love (Eph. 3:19). Looking at 1 John 4:7-21, the Lord showed us that if we truly know Him, we will love like Him since He is love and as He is, so are we in the world.

Looking at the parable of the lost son (Luke 15) the Lord showed us the nature of His love and how we can choose to enter into that love or stay outside (15:28). We then looked at the account of Jesus being anointed by a sinful woman in Luke 7:36-50 that describes someone who has entered into Divine Capacity because she received God's love by faith and released the abundance of that love on earth.

She gave everything on earth because she received everything from Heaven!

Yesterday evening we had another soup kitchen for the poor and needy - another wonderful opportunity to release a generous spirit which is the fruit of Divine Capacity! We are excited about how people are responding to God's love; how people are "softening"; how trust is developing and how relationships are being built. The people have told us that they love it when we come and are eager to know when we will come again. Yesterday another man gave his life to Jesus and many are asking questions about the Lord! Hallelujah!

We praise God for His revelation to us and how it is affecting our lives and the lives of others for His glory!

Quote of the week:

"From the fullness of his grace we have received one blessing after another." John 1:16

"Freely you have received, freely give." Matthew 10:8

Fellowship with Abba, Father

Praise be to Abba, Father!

This past week has been another exciting time with the Lord! The Spirit of revelation (Eph. 1:17) is upon us and the Lord is revealing more and more of Himself to us in our meetings. Hallelujah!

At our weekly prayer meeting on Tuesday, the Lord spoke to us about His Kingdom and how KLF is the yeast of His Kingdom that is precious and is influencing the Body (Matthew 13:33, 44, 45).

On Wednesday morning, at the women's meeting at Star Bucks, the Lord spoke to the women about how His glory is in His face and that we need to seek His face to see His glory! The week before, the Lord revealed more about "gates" and how His Kingdom people are gates to God's Kingdom! We praise God for revelation and the privilege of being able to feast on His Word and being taught by the Holy Spirit (1 John 2:27)!

Friday's IMPACT! meeting was very exciting as KLF's youth got together to meet with God and one another. We had a profound time exploring the significance of the "keys to the Kingdom" and how God has given His children the keys to bind and loose in order to manifest the Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 16:17-19)!

Yesterday's meeting was very powerful once again. The Lord is speaking to us about abiding in Him and we have seen that to have eternal life is to know God. To know God is to have fellowship with the Father and the Son. To have fellowship with Him is to abide in Him and He in us. As we grow in our knowledge of God through spiritual revelation, the Lord is revealing Himself to us as true royalty (see last week) but particularly as Abba, Father. So, yesterday the Lord was showing us the following:

When we believe in Jesus,

  • we are born again and become children of God. 1 John 3:1
  • we have a right to be called children of God based on what God has done for us. John 1:12
  • we receive the Spirit of sonship by which we call God our Abba, Father. Gal. 4:4-7; Rom. 8:14-17

The reason the Lord wants us to know Him as Abba, Father is the following:

  1. The Lord wants us to grow in intimacy with Him as we come to know Him both as Abba (Daddy) and Father.
  2. The Lord is exposing the Devil's plot to destroy God's image in man as Creator and Father.
  3. The Lord wants to restore natural fatherhood in this fatherless generation to reveal true spiritual Fatherhood.
  4. The Lord wants us to recognise that what we sow in the natural we will reap in the spiritual. Therefore our attitude toward our earthly father reflects our attitude toward our heavenly Father.
  5. The Lord wants to restore the true image of Fatherhood so that His children can reveal Abba, Father to the world.

The Lord then showed us something very profound and exciting. Looking at Numbers 21:8,9 and John 3:14, Abba, Father revealed the following:

  1. The Israelites were disobedient and consequently received the punishment they deserved. Numbers 21:4-7
  2. Moses prayed for the Israelites. 21:7
  3. The Lord did not remove the snakes!
  4. The Lord made provision for the healing of the Israelites by making a bronze snake that was to be raised upon a pole so that anyone who looked at the bronze snake would be healed. 21:89
  5. Consequently, that which was distorted in the natural was restored in the spiritual by looking at perfection.
  6. Jesus reveals in John 3:14 that this incident is a shadow of God's purpose in Christ's death and resurrection!
  7. Whoever looks at perfect Life, the Son, will be healed of that which has poisoned one's life.
  8. Similarly, the Lord was showing us that as we behold Abba, Father, we will be healed of the consequences of distorted and poisoned fatherhood (abuse, rejection, absent father etc).

What is exciting about this revelation is that it confirms that it is as we worship God and fix our eyes on Him that we are healed. It is Abba, Father's way of healing His children. Glory to Him.

Quote of the week:

"Both Scripture and experience teach that it is we, not God, who determine the degree of intimacy with Him that we enjoy. We are at this moment as close to God as we really choose to be. True, there are times when we would like to know a deeper intimacy, but when it comes to the point, we are not prepared to pay the price involved. The qualifying conditions are more stringent and exacting than we are prepared to meet; so we settle for a less demanding level of Christian living." J. Oswald Sanders

Abiding in the Light

Glory to God!

Sunday's meeting was awesome! Words cannot describe God's presence! The Lord is teaching us to abide in Him and showing us that in order to know Him, we need to receive spiritual revelation (1 Cor. 2:10-14; Eph. 1:17). We saw that the apostle Paul lived out of revelation (Gal. 1:11,12; 2:2; 1 Cor. 11:23; 14:6; 2 Cor. 12:7) and that revelation is received through Jesus (Luke 2:32; 2 Cor. 4:6).

To receive revelation is to receive light so that we can know the Father and the Son. From Hebrews 6:4-7 we learned that to be enlightened is:

  • to taste the heavenly gift of eternal Life
  • to share in the Holy Spirit
  • to taste the goodness of the Word of God
  • to taste the powers of the coming age

We also learned that to abide in God is to abide in His Light (1 John 1:1 - 2:11) and to continuously drink from Him (Heb.6:7; Psalm 36:6-9).

The Father also revealed to us that He wants to draw us into His bosom; a place of closest possible intimacy and rest (Gen. 16:5; John 1:18 - KJV).

Following communion, we entered into a time of worship as we focused completely on adoring our King. As we worshipped, God entered and His presence was heavily upon us. As we closed the meeting, two people testified to being healed during the meeting! Glory to God!

The Lord wants us to continuously abide in His presence so that His presence is always with us, thereby making Himself known to the nations through His holy people (Ezek. 36:23). Hallelujah!

On Sunday evening we joined TPL to minister to the poor and needy. We praise God for lives that are being touched and the relationships that are being formed.

Quote of the week:

"For God, who said, 'Let light shine out of darkness,' made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ." 2 Corinthians 4:6

Abiding in the River!

Praise the Lord!

Yesterday's meeting was an awesome start to the new year! We are being blessed with the Lord's presence as He reveals more and more of Himself to us in worship and in the Word.

The Lord is speaking to us about the River of Revival and how we are to abide in the River of Life! To do so, the Lord showed us the following:

1. Eternal life is to know God.

"Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent." John 17:3

Eternal life is not some THING the Christian possesses that he can lose, but a relationship with God!

2. To know God is to have fellowship with the Father and the Son.

"..truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ." 1 John 1:3

There are 3 kinds of fellowship:

  • Physical fellowship
  • Soulish fellowship
  • Spiritual fellowship

The soulish Christian has a conditional relationship with God that is dependent on the individual's subjective understanding, feelings and desires (self).

The spiritual Christian has an unconditional relationship with God that is based on God's revelation of Himself to the individual. (Matthew 16:15-17; Ephesians 1:17)

3. To have spiritual fellowship with God is to abide in Him.

"Abide in me and I in you." John 15:4

Therefore, eternal life is to know God. To know God is to have spiritual fellowship with Him. To have spiritual fellowship with God is to abide in Him and He in us.

We are looking forward to an exciting year in which the Lord has told us that He will establish Kingdom Life! Hallelujah!

This week we will resume our regular meetings and will be joining Treffpunkt Leben this Sunday to feed the needy with physical and spiritual food at the monthly soup kitchen.

Quotes of the week:

"..the moment you are born again, eternal life comes into your spirit." John G. Lake

"The foundation of Christianity rests on inward revelation and inward knowledge. That which is merely traditional or imitative is not true Christianity. The foundation of the church lies in revelation. With revelation comes life. When we were saved, we did not substitute life with doctrine. In like manner, after we are saved we still must not substitute life with doctrine. If a person hears only doctrine and receives no light, what he obtains is only doctrine, not Christ....Our emphasis on doctrine and not on revelation accounts very much for the weakness, failure, and barrenness of the church. How can the church not be weak if she is being weighed down with too many doctrines - all of which are passed from one to another without any inward revelation?" Watchman Nee

"He who has the Son has life." 1 John 5:12

Zeal for God's House consumes us!

Glory to God!

This past week has been another exciting week as we sense the Lord preparing us for a greater revelation of His glory. Hallelujah!

Yesterday the Lord spoke to us about preparing the Temple for His glory as we looked at Ephesians 2:19-22; John 2:13-22 and Mark 11:17. From these Scriptures, we learned that:

  1. The spiritual Temple of God is both the individual believer as well as the church, the Body of Christ. 1 Cor. 3:16; Eph. 2:21,22
  2. God wants to clear out the church of all wordliness, self and evil. John 2:15,16
  3. God does not want the world in the church. John 2:14
  4. God is radical about holiness in His Temple. John 215,16
  5. Zeal for God's House must consume us. John 2:17
  6. God wants His people to be a people of prayer. Mark 11:17; Rom. 12:11,12

God's desire is to fill the Church with His manifest presence, power and love so that
His glory is revealed to the world through His people!

As we learned about what God's glory is, we looked at 2 Chronicles 5:7-14 and 2 Chronicles 7:1-3 where the Lord showed us that,

  1. God's presence is in the Most Holy Place/ the spirit of the believer. 5:7
  2. We, as a kingdom of priests, must consecrate ourselves. 5:11; Rev. 1:6; 1 Pet.2:9
  3. The church must join together in unity of spirit. 5:13
  4. The church must worship God. 5:12,13
  5. God will fill His Temple/ the church/ the soul and the body as well as the spirit. 5:13,14
  6. God's glory will be upon the church so that nations will bow down before Him. 7:1-3

We praise God for this exciting revelation and we expect the Lord to reveal more and more of His glory to us as we consecrate ourselves and seek His face! Hallelujah!

Yesterday evening we had a wonderful time blessing the needy and homeless as we worshipped together and fed them spiritual and physical food. Relationships and trust are steadily growing so that many more people are responding to God's love as they receive prayer and compassion. It is so moving to see our children and teens help at our soup kitchen and to see the love and care they demonstrate as they serve our needy people. Yesterday we had a team of 14 people that enabled great efficiency as everyone in the room was cared for and could sit peacefully as they were all served. We praise God for this opportunity to demonstrate His glory through word and action.

We are greatly looking forward to the Christmas dinner for the homeless and needy on the 23 December. We are preparing filled shoeboxes to give to the people and we are thrilled that a hotel chain has agreed to provide a 3 course meal and presents as well! Glory to God! What's also exciting is that 4 churches will be participating. God is indeed bringing His people together to glorify His Name!

We have finally managed to put the podcast and notes of our prophecy seminar on our website so please check that out under "teaching."

The Lord is blessing us and His favour is clearly upon us. He is deepening our walk in the River; He is adding to our number; He is healing people in our meetings and He is releasing and anointing workers among us to build up His people. Thank you Jesus!

Quote of the week:

"It is this spirit of dominion when restored to the Church of Christ that will bring again the glory triumph to the Church of God throughout the world, and lift her into the place, where, instead of being the obedient servant of the world, the flesh and the devil, she will become the divine instrument of salvation in healing the sick, in the casting out of devils, and in the carrying out of the whole programme of Jesus' ministry, as the early Church did." John G. Lake

Building a spiritual House for God's Glory!

Glory to the King of Kings!

God is speaking to us about building spiritual walls and that as living stones (1 Peter 2:5) He is calling us to build walls of salvation (Isaiah 26:1) as a church that will influence and protect our lives and the lives of those around us. God is challenging us to understand the cost involved to be "Repairer(s) of Broken Walls" (Isaiah 58:12) as we seek to stand in the gap for the Church and this city. Consequently as KLF fasts for 21 days this month we will be interceding for the Church and the city of Frankfurt and praying for the glory of the Lord to be revealed in and through His Body and in Frankfurt (Ezekiel 43:1-12). The Lord is calling us to consecrate ourselves (1 John 2:15-17) so that He can glorify His Name through His people.

Yesterday the Lord showed us how the glory can depart and we saw from 1 Samuel 3; 4:12-22 that:

  1. We must never assume that God's glory will automatically be with us and become over familiar with His presence. We must guard and honour the Lord's glory at all times!
  2. Just as Eli's eyes grew dim we are not to allow our spiritual eyes to become dim by relying on past revelation rather than on fresh revelation.
  3. Eli was heavy and immovable but God wants His people to be ready and moving with Him all the time. The Church is never to be settled and comfortable but continuously on the move with God.
  4. Eli didn't raise up the next generation in the fear of the Lord so that his sons sinned against the Lord and were not trained in the ways of the Lord. Likewise Samuel wasn't taught how to recognise the voice of the Lord!

If we, as the spiritual House of God want to see God's glory, we must humble ourselves and seek the Lord's face. We are being called to vulnerability before God so that He will clothe us with His glory (Gen. 3:8). Hallelujah!
We believe that God is taking us to a new level in our relationship with Him and that our 21 day fast is the doorway to new and even more exciting things in 2008! Glory to God!
We praise God for 3 opportunities this month to feed the poor. On the 9th and the 30th we will have our regular soup kitchen and on the 23rd we are joining other churches to provide the poor with a Christmas dinner and celebration. For this purpose we and TPLF are making up 200 filled shoe boxes with lots of goodies in them to give to the needy.

"May the glory of the Lord be praised in His dwelling place!" Ezekiel 3:12

Immersed in the River!

Praise the Lord!

We give God all the glory for what He is doing in the lives of the people of Kingdom Life! Yesterday we met in the Evangelisch-Freikirchliche Gemeinde Frankfurt-Nordwest to have a New Life Celebration. Five people were baptised and 3 people recommitted their lives to Jesus. Hallelujah! As the building of Treffpunkt Leben, where we usually meet, doesn't have a baptismal pool, TPL also meets in the EFG Frankfurt-Nordwest to baptise their people. After the baptisms and recommitments we prayed for the 8 people to be filled with the Holy Spirit and the Lord spoke to each person through prophetic words given to various people in the body. It was a very special time indeed!

After the meeting we gathered together at a local restaurant to celebrate KLF's 6 month "birthday" and to simply enjoy one another. What made the evening particularly significant was that everyone was invited to a meal but that everyone gave according to what they were able to. We therefore collected what everyone liked to contribute so that everyone could be blessed. Our desire is to cultivate a spirit of generosity in our people who share with one another according to what God has blessed them with. If we are generous in the church, we will be generous as the church in the world!

"Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need.....All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had." Acts 2:45; 4:32

God's favour is upon us! He is opening up His Word to us in a most wonderful way through spiritual revelation (1 Cor. 2:10, Eph. 1:17). Yesterday the Lord showed us some amazing truth concerning the believer's walk in the Spirit. Looking at Luke 3 & 4 we saw the following:
  1. God loves, and is well pleased with those who have surrendered their lives to Him because He sees us as He sees His own Son, Jesus. Luke 3:21,22
  2. Through Jesus the believer becomes the righteousness of God, dearly loved by the Father. 2 Cor. 5:21; 1 John 3:1
  3. Jesus was led by the Holy Spirit into the desert where He was tempted by the devil. Luke 4:1,2
  4. The Father's will was for Jesus to be absolutely obedient to Him, in order for Jesus to reveal the Father.
  5. Satan tempted Jesus to serve self (the desires of the body and the soul - mind, emotions and will) so that Jesus would do His own will rather than the Father's will. Luke 4:3,6,7,9
  6. The 40 days are significant as they represent the spiritual walk of the believer. Luke 4:2
  7. The 40 days of the flood represent the destruction of the old to release the new and signify the release of the Holy Spirit in the believer's life. Gen. 7:11
  8. Both 40 day accounts speak of the same thing:

as the believer denies self (Luke 4:1-12) and yields to the Holy Spirit,
streams of Living Water will flow from within the believer (John 7:38,39) and without as the "springs of the great deep burst forth, and the floodgates of the heavens" are opened (Gen. 7:11) so that the believer walks in the power of the Holy Spirit (Luke 4:14)!

Glory to God! Our prayer is that we, as Kingdom Life, will increasingly learn to deny self and yield to the Holy Spirit so that streams of Living Water will flow out of us to release God's presence, power and love! Lord have your way.
