Walking in the Supernatural

Glory to the King of kings!

Last week was amazing! As part of Kingdom Life's Training Days, our guest speaker Bengt Wedemalm spoke to us about Walking in the Supernatural. In 3 very powerful sessions we were instructed and inspired to exercise God's faith to overcome the world. You can listen to the sessions here...

On Sunday Gayle Claxton of Voice in the City spoke to us about personal leadership and how every believer is responsible to be a spiritual leader through desire, prayer and worship. You can listen to Gayle's powerful teaching here...

We are excited about whom God is connecting us to, to build with us and we are in awe of God's mandate for KLF in Frankfurt and Germany! Through God's revelation and grace, we are being equipped to have an influence on the Church and the people of Frankfurt and we are witnessing the Lord bring people from many, many nations to us to be revived to influence the nations. Glory to God!

This Sunday we will be meeting at our new venue for our Sunday meetings. We will be hosted by the Christliches Zentrum Frankfurt and will meet as usual from 3pm - 5pm. Please check here for directions to CZF. Our mid-week meetings are at various other venues so please check here for details.

Touching the nations

Praise be the God!

This past week was wonderful. The Lord is continuing to bless us with spiritual revelation, wisdom and knowledge to know Him more and we are seeing people being set free by the Truth! Hallelujah!

Yesterday we had the privilege of having pastors Joseph and Geetha Komanapalli visit KLF. The Lord is doing a wonderful work through this godly couple in India where they are ministering to the poorest of the poor on the south- eastern coast of India in the area of Andhra Pradesh. Their work supported by Hermon Living Waters Ministries is exstensive and we are blessed to be able to contribute both financially and practically to this anointed ministry. To find out more about HLWM and the Komanapallis, click here.

Pastor Geetha brought God's Word and the Lord spoke to us about living a life of faith. In particular the Lord addressed our need to identify temptation and sin that seek to undermine and weaken our faith. We were encouraged to take hold of God's promises and walk in them!

We praise God for the way He is continuously encouraging us to stand firm in our faith as we possess His promises, dwell in them and stand firm in them.

This Friday and Saturday we will be having our KLF Training Days with Bengt Wedemalm and we are expecting to break through into deeper levels of faith that will release even more miracles, signs and wonders in KLF, Frankfurt and across the globe! God is able to do exceedingly abundantly more than we can possibly ask or think according to his power that is at work within us! Hallelujah! For more information on this weekend click here.

This Sunday Gayle Claxton of Voice in the City will be ministering to KLF and we are looking forward to another Spirit-filled encounter with God and one another! For more information on Gayle and Voice in the City click here.

We praise God for all the awesome things He is doing in us and through us and we are continuing to prepare for greater things as we expand our territory in the natural in anticipation of both numerical growth and spiritual growth. Our move to CZF on the 31st of this month is significant and we believe that this move is a move into new beginnings as we enter into the next season of God's work with us and through us. Glory to the King of kings! For more information on the move click here.

Quote of the week:

"I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.'" Matthew 17:20

Standing firm!

Glory to God!

KLF celebrated her 2nd birthday yesterday and we praise God for His faithfulness and for His favour upon our lives! Hallelujah! All glory belongs to Him!

The Lord is speaking to us about: possessing the land by taking hold of God's Truth and about dwelling in the land by living in the Truth. This is what the Holy Spirit showed us yesterday:

  1. The Father has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into Christ's Kingdom. Col. 1:13
  2. A dominion is made up of a ruler and his subjects; a master and his servants.
  3. Whatever dominates the believer's life, rules the believer's life. 2 Peter 2:19
  4. Even though the believer has been delivered from the dominion of the flesh, the world and the devil, s/he still has to choose to submit to the Lordship of Christ Jesus. Rom.8:12; James 4:7
  5. Submission is giving permission and the denying of self to do the will of another.
  6. Having been rescued, reconciled and made new, the believer must continue in his or her faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope held out in the gospel by continuing to submit to the Lordship of Jesus Christ! Col. 1:13,22,23
  7. Submission to God means choosing to receive Him unconditionally and allowing Him to renew our mind, heart and will (the soul).
  8. The believer will only experience God's supernatural nature and power when s/he receives the Truth unconditionally and submits His life to Him. John 6:16-21

We then looked at 2 Chron. 20:1-30 where God began to show us how the believer is to deal with opposing dominions. When opposition comes,

  1. the believer must fix his/her eyes on Jesus. 2 Chron. 20:3,4,18,19,21,22,26,27
  2. the believer must trust in the Lord by appealing to God's nature (20:6); God's power (20:6); God's works (20:7) and God's Word (20:8)!
  3. the believer must depend on God and not on his/her own power to deal with the opposing dominion. 20:12,13
  4. the believer must trust in the truth that the "battle is the Lord's" (20:15). It is God's power and God's protection that delivers the believer from opposition (Eph. 6:10,11).
  5. the believer must take up his /her position and stand firm in the Truth. 20:17; Col. 1:23; Eph.6:11,13,14
  6. God delivers His people from opposition as they submit to His lordship and trust in Him! James 4:7; 2 Chron. 20:1-30

We praise God for continuing to establish us and build us up in the Truth so that we can stand firm and "dwell in the land" that we have taken possession of! (Col. 1:23; 2:6,7)

Exciting upcoming events:

17 May: Joseph and Gheeta Komanapalli of Hermon Living Water Ministries will be visiting KLF
22 & 23 May: Bengt Wedemalm will be leading KLF's Training Days on Walking in the Supernatural
24 May: Gayle Claxton of Voice in the City will be ministering to KLF

Times of refreshing!

Glory to God!

We are living in "times of refreshing" (Acts 3:19,20) and we are excited about what God is showing us and doing with us. Hallelujah!

The Lord is speaking to us about walking in His truth and "possessing the land." This is what He revealed to us yesterday as we looked at Joshua 6 & 7:

In order to "possess the land" or walk in God's promises/truth,

  1. The believer must hear from God - God's Word/truth is the foundation of faith! Joshua 6:2
  2. The believer must believe God's Word and receive it by faith.
  3. The believer must realise God's Word by speaking it and acting on it. Joshua 6:6,7
  4. The believer will then "possess the land" and walk in God's truth. Joshua 6:20
  5. The believer must dwell in the land as s/he continues to walk in the truth. Col. 1:21-23

The obstacles to "possessing the land" are when,

  1. The believer doesn't base his or her faith on God's Word but on his or her own thinking. Joshua 7:2-5
  2. The believer doesn't trust God's Word and therefore does not believe the truth.
  3. The believer does not realise the truth but trusts in a stronghold that is not built on the truth. 2 Cor. 10:3-5
  4. The believer gives in to fear.
  5. The believer walks in disobedience.

Therefore, in order for the believer to dwell in the land or walk in the truth,

  • The believer must let the truth remain in him/her. Col. 3:16; John 15:7; 1 John 2:14
  • The believer must make the truth his/her stronghold. Psalm 91:1-4 (KJV)
  • The believer must continue in the truth by being rooted and built up in it. Col. 2:6,7

God wants His people to walk in times of refreshing as they take hold of His truth by believing it, receiving it, realising it, possessing it and continuing in it.

We praise God for His revelation to us so that we can walk in times of refreshing! Hallelujah!

Yesterday evening we had another awesome opportunity to minister to the poor and needy in Frankfurt as we served them, loved them, encouraged them and simply brought them in touch with God's Kingdom. Praise God!

This Sunday we are looking forward to celebrating our 2nd birthday and we praise God for His faithfulness to us! All glory belongs to Him!

31 May: KLF's first meeting at the Christliches Zentrum Frankfurt at 3pm

Quote of the week:

" He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler." Psalm 91 (KJV)

Living the Kingdom life

Glory to God!

It has been another exciting week with God! Hallelujah!

On Saturday, the KLF worship team joined Suzette Hattingh and Gayle Claxton of Voice in the City for their Arise Shine! meetings that the Lord is using to equip the Body in Frankfurt with His truth, His presence and His power.

Yesterday KLF had another New Life Celebration as we celebrated new life in Christ through baptism. You can see pictures of the meeting here. The Lord spoke to us about our lives in Him and this is what He showed us concerning living the Kingdom life:

  1. The believer has been rescued from the kingdom of darkness and has been brought into the Kingdom of God. Col- 1:13
  2. The believer has been reconciled to God and is made one with Him. Rom. 6:3-11; 2 Cor. 5:18-20; Col. 3:1-3; John 17:20,21
  3. The believer has been regenerated and has received a new life in Christ. John 1:12,13; 3:3-8; 1 Pet. 1:23; 2 Cor. 5:17
  4. The believer is to remain in Christ. John 15:4-8
  5. The believer is to realise the truth by faith. Gal. 2:20; John 14:20
  6. The believer is to reveal the person of Christ in him/her through obedience. 1 John 4:12; John 3:30; 14:23
  7. The believer is to release the power of Christ by doing the works of Jesus. Eph. 1:19; 2:10; Mt. 28:20

"They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor." Isaiah 61:3

We praise God for His continuing revelation to us! Glory to Him!

This coming weekend we will have another exciting opportunity to bless the poor and needy as we share God's presence, power and love with them.

Quote of the week:

"I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." Gal. 2:20

The right and the responsibility to pray

Praise be to God!

It's been another exciting week! As the Lord teaches us about prayer and we apply His Word to our lives, we are seeing a greater desire and fervency to pray both individually and corporately. The spirit of prayer and the dynamic of prayer is increasing and we are seeing the fruit of our prayers already! God has spoken to us about 2009 being a year of breakthrough and fruitfulness and as we pray God's way, we "will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living" (Psalm 27:13)!

On Saturday our worship team was invited to be part of the Arise Shine conference, organised by Voice in the city with Gayle Claxton and Suzette Hattingh. We praise God for the way He is bringing the Body of Christ together and for the spirit of unity that is developing in Frankfurt amongst the churches. We believe that God will use these Arise Shine conferences to bring the Body together and equip the Church to make a larger impact on Frankfurt! Hallelujah!

Yesterday three people covenanted with KLF to:

  • Establish our covenant unity with Christ and one another
  • Establish God's call on our lives to be part of His local Body
  • Establish our commitment to one another to live in fellowship (Koinonia)
  • Express our agreement of our values, beliefs and the vision of KLF
  • Express our unity in passion for what God is doing in and through KLF
  • Express our unity of DNA
  • Exercise our unity by serving one another with one's time, energy and resources

We are excited about how God is bringing people to us who are devoted to the Lord and to His local church to see Him glorified and to further God's Kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven!

Yesterday theLord spoke to us about the right and the responsibility to pray! He showed us that as believers we have:

  1. The right to become children of God (John 1:12)
  2. The right to call God, "Abba" Father (Rom. 8:14-16)
  3. Full rights as sons and daughters of God (Gal.3:26-4:7)
  4. The right to receive our inheritance because we are heirs (Luke 15:12; 31)
  5. The right to pray (Matt.6:9; Heb. 10:19-22)

The Lord then showed us that we are anointed to be a royal priesthood (Ex.19:4-6; 1 Peter 2:9,10; Rev.5:10) with the priestly responsibility:

  1. To raise God's name up in worship - spirit of worship (1 Peter 2:9; John 4:21-24; Heb.9:9;10:1)
  2. To represent man to God - spirit of intercession (Heb.7:25; Rom.8:26,27)
  3. To reconcile man to God - ministry of reconciliation (John 16:8-11; 2 Cor. 5:18-21)
  4. To reveal God to man - ministers of the Spirit (Rom.15:16; 2 Cor.3:4-6)

God has anointed us to be His children with the right to pray and He has anointed us to be priests of the Kingdom with the responsibility to pray!

In response to God's Word to us we anointed every believer with oil to establish the anointing we have received as children of God and as priests of the Kingdom to pray heaven on earth!

We are devoted to prayer and we have started a pre-meeting prayer time that takes place every Sunday before the meeting and we are setting up intercessor cards for the Body to be purposefully active in prayer.

Quote of the week:

"..you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light." 1 Peter 2:9

The Glory and the Kingdom

Hallelujah! God is amazing!

The Lord is anointing our meetings with His awesome presence and revelation! Our lives are being changed as we seek the Father's face and apply His Word to our lives. God is teaching us to pray and yesterday the Lord spoke to us about our IDENTITY and the PURPOSE and GOAL of prayer:

  1. Identity - We have the privilege of having access to God as children of God and addressing Him as "Father". Matthew 6:9; Gal. 3:26; 4:6,7
  2. Purpose - To know God and to know His purposes (His will, His promises and His Word). Prov. 3:5-7; Rom.12:1,2; Eph. 1:17; Isaiah 55:1-9
  3. Goal - To glorify God and see His will done on earth as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:9,10; Is. 55:10-13

"If my people, who are called by my name (identity), will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways (purpose), then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land (goal)." 2 Chron.7:14

This Saturday our worship team will be supporting "Voice in the city" at their Arise Shine Conference. We are excited to partner with VITC to impact Frankfurt and to equip the Church. For more info click here.

Quote of the week:

"This then, is how you should pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven." Matthew 6:9,10
