KLF Training Days

"To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honour and glory and power for ever and ever!" Rev. 5:13

This past weekend KLF had the privilege of having Mike and Kay Chance as guest speakers at our KLF Training Days. These Training Days are designed to equip the saints by being anchored in God's Truth! Over 3 days we explored the Book of Revelation and received insight into God's plan for these Last Days and what is to come. Mike and Kay are anointed teachers of God's Truth and are instrumental in bringing God's Word to the Body of Christ both in Germany and in England where they are regular speakers at Kingdom Faith College in Horsham. We are excited about the Christ-exalting message they brought this weekend that has led us into a greater revelation of Christ's majesty and authority! The teaching sessions will be available here...

Yesterday evening we had another opportunity to share God's love with the homeless and needy at our monthly homeless mission. It is always exciting to bring the lost into God's presence and watch the Holy Spirit do His work amongst them. We are seeing more and more people begin to trust us and give us permission to speak into their lives to bring healing and hope in often desperate situations. Glory to God!

Quote of the week:

"Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean was given her to wear." Rev. 19:6-8

Living from the truth

Glory to God!

The Lord is continuing to speak to us about the convictions He wants us to have that will affect our way of life. God is showing us that faith is having convictions based on the truth that change the believer's way of life. Just as faith without works is dead (James 2:26) so are "convictions" without action. True convictions will always be visible. The fruit of the believer's convictions will be evident in his/her daily life. When the Word of God is received and becomes a conviction in the life of the believer, s/he becomes a demonstration of the truth and the Kingdom of God (1 Thess. 1:2-10). The Lord is exposing every "form of godliness" (2 Tim. 3:5) and leading the Church to live from the truth and not from church culture. God is stripping the Church of all superficiality and raising her up to sincerely live from the truth and be the witness of the Kingdom He has called and set her apart to be (1 Peter 1:15,16).

Yesterday we had another opportunity to minister grace and love to the poor and needy at our monthly soup kitchen. The place was packed and yet the peace of God reigned and lives were being touched with God's presence, power and love. Everyone left satisfied, having eaten well and having been in God's presence. We praise God for opportunities such as these to bear the fruit of our convictions! Hallelujah!

Quote of the week:

"But as for you, continue in what you have learned and become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." 2 Tim. 3:14-16 (emphasis mine)

Ordination

Glory to God!

We are encountering God in our meetings and enjoying true fellowship with Him. On Sunday the Lord spoke to us about a further Kingdom conviction He wants us to have that will affect our way of life to produce Kingdom culture. This is what He showed us:

  • God has created every person to uniquely reveal God in a way that only that individual can.
  • God wants to reveal Himself through the believer so that all that God has placed in the believer is made manifest through him/her.
  • The believer can only reveal God to the degree that s/he has received revelation of God.
  • God wants to reveal Himself through the believer but not replace the uniqueness of the believer's personality! Psalm 139:13-18
  • The Kingdom conviction God wants us to have is: God thinks I am wonderful!
  • When you have the conviction that God thinks you are wonderful, you will stop trying to be someone else to please man or to impress God.
  • Masks are put up when we try to be someone different and hide our true identity and therefore the revelation of God.
  • Walls are erected to protect ourselves from harm and criticism but self-erected walls isolate us from God's revelation and from revealing Him to others.
  • God wants these walls to come down to reveal the Spirit within us for He is our Wall and our Defence. Psalm 91

When we have the conviction that "God thinks I am wonderful" we won't put up masks or walls but will uniquely reveal God in us.

From Monday to Wednesday the leaders of KLF attended another dynamic and Spirit-filled Kingdom Faith leaders' conference in Horsham, England where we encountered God very powerfully and received life-changing revelation and teaching that will take us even further in our relationship with God as a leadership team and as a church. On Wednesday, Richard and Frances were ordained and anointed as pastors of KLF by pastors Clive and Colin Urquhart. Being in covenant relationship with Kingdom Faith means that Kingdom Life is covered by the apostolic anointing on Kingdom Faith and apostle Colin Urquhart. This ordination is a very significant step for KLF as the spiritual leadership of Richard and Frances is established not only in KLF but also in the city of Frankfurt and the nation of Germany. God's order is being established in the Church so that His power and purposes can be unfolded and released through His Body. Hallelujah! We praise God for our relationship with KF and the anointing that is flowing in and through KLF because of our spiritual unity!

Quote of the week:

"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well...How precious to me (concerning me) are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them!" Psalm 139:13,14,17

Les and Dot Mitchell

Praise be to our awesome King!

We've had a brilliant time with our visitors from Kingdom Faith London, pastors Les and Dot Mitchell. On Friday and Saturday evening they led us into greater intimacy with the Father at our KLF Training Days - Prayer Workshop, as we pressed into God's presence until we truly encountered Him and met with Him. Hallelujah!

Yesterday the Lord spoke to us about our First Love (Rev. 2:4) and how He wants every believer to ensure that He is the "one thing" (Psalm 27:4) we desire so that everything we are and everything we do flows out of an intimate relationship with Jesus. Pastor Les showed us how important it is that we build our relationship with the Living Word, Jesus, and not just with the written Word that actually points us to Him (John 5:39,40)!

We praise God for an amazing weekend with the Mitchells under whose anointing we could be partakers of what God is doing in their lives and has imparted to them. We believe that our relationship with the Mitchells and Kingdom Faith London is bringing even greater spiritual breakthrough in our cities and we look forward to seeing even more fruit from this significant connection between London and Frankfurt.

Our website is continuously being updated and improved and we are excited about now having a link to the videos we produce of various aspects of Kingdom Life Frankfurt. Take a look here...

Quote of the week:

"One thing I ask of the Lord, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple." Psalm 27:4

We're back!

Glory to the King of kings!

We're back! 33 of us attended this year's Faith Camp in Peterborough, England where between 5000 to 6000 people gathered together for a week of camping, worshipping, teaching, fellowship and lots of fun! We had a brilliant time and have returned filled and excited about what God imparted into our lives and is going to do this next half of the year! See pictures here...

On Saturday many believers joined together from Frankfurt and many other cities in Germany to march for Jesus at the annual International Jesus March. It was another great opportunity to proclaim the name of Jesus over our city and demonstrate the unity of the Church in seeing Jesus glorified in our city and country!

It was wonderful to meet again yesterday after our two week summer break. We are excited about how God confirmed at Faith Camp what He has been saying to us previously and we are confident that we are continuing to walk according to His will and purpose for us. Yesterday the Lord spoke to us about Kingdom Culture and this is what He showed us:

  1. The Kingdom of God is a present reality that is being established on earth as it is in heaven, now! Col. 1:15; Matthew 13:11,41; Luke 12:32; 17:21
  2. Believers are "sons of the Kingdom." Matthew 13:38
  3. Believers are responsible for producing the fruit of the Kingdom. Matthew 21:43

The Kingdom of God is like yoghurt...

  1. Yoghurt is a live culture that gives life to the "dead" milk it is immersed in. Similarly we have received Kingdom culture that has given us life that enables us to impart life. 2 Peter 1:3,4
  2. Yoghurt changes the appearance of the milk it is immersed in. Similarly we are changed by Kingdom culture and are responsible for developing Kingdom culture wherever we are so that a visbile change in appearance is achieved (behaviour, attitude, etc). Matthew 5:13-16
  3. Yoghurt restricts the growth of food poisoning bacteria. Similarly Kingdom culture will restrict the work of the devil's kingdom!
  4. Yoghurt produces a characteristic flavour in the milk. Similarly Kingdom culture has a particular flavour that must be produced in us and wherever we seek to develop Kingdom culture.
  5. Yoghurt is produced in a sterile container. Similarly Kingdom culture is developed in vessels that remain pure and holy!
  6. Only 10% yoghurt culture is needed to change milk completely into yoghurt. Similarly only a few who carry Kingdom culture can influence many to produce Kingdom culture. Matthew 13:31-33
  7. The Yoghurt/Milk mixture needs to incubate until it is set. Similarly believers must continue to develop Kingdom culture until there is visible change.
  8. The yoghurt that has been developed can be used to make more yoghurt. Similarly Kingdom culture can be multiplied but it must be made from an orginal "batch." The believer must develop his own Kingdom culture directly from the Source and not try to copy another culture.

As sons of the Kingdom of God, we are called to produce the fruit of the Kingdom now as we allow God's Kingdom (His rule and reign) to transform us, and as we reveal and release God's Kingdom through us, to produce Kingdom culture wherever we are (home, church, work, world, etc)!

This Friday and Saturday, we have the privilege of having pastors Les and Dot Mitchell from Kingdom Faith London with us. They will be teaching us on prophetic intercession as we learn to pray God's will on earth as it is in heaven. Both meetings will be held at Treffpunkt Leben (Kurfürstenstr.14, Frankfurt-Bockenheim) at 7.30pm and 6.00pm respectively.

Quote of the week:

"Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit." Matthew 21:43

Tribus

Praise be to God!

On Sunday we had a brazilian dance group called TRIBUS join us at our meeting. We were blessed to have them with us and be inspired to worship in dance. Tribus is leading an exciting dance-workshop from the 15th - 17th July at CZF from 9am - 4pm. You can find out more about these passionate worshippers here...

On Sunday we experienced great freedom in our worship and the Lord spoke to us about looking to Abraham as our example of a worshipper after God's own heart (Isaiah 51:1,2). Looking at Genesis 22:1-19, the Lord showed us that true worshippers are:

  • an obedient people. Gen. 22:3
  • a people of faith. Gen. 22:4
  • a sacrificing people. Gen. 22:10

Further, the Lord showed us that times of testing are an opportunity to receive an even deeper revelation of God! We praise God for His awesome revelation and for teaching us to be passionate worshippers.

Faith Camp '09 is approaching quickly and over 30 of us will be attending this exciting week of worship, teaching, community, revelation, encountering God, connecting with others from all over the world and loads of fun. Check here for more info...

After our Summer Break from 27 July - 10 August we will have pastors Les and Dot Mitchell with us to lead and train us in prayer at Treffpunkt Leben on the 21st and 22nd August. Check here for more info...

More of His Glory!

Praise the Lord!

God is continuing to teach us about seeing His glory and He is revealing Himself to us more and more. On Sunday God spoke to us about encountering Him in the fullness of His glory - His love, His compassion, His faithfulness, His forgiveness, His mercy (Ex. 33,34) to allow Him to replace any distorted views of Him that are based on our own experiences in life rather than on His revelation of Himself. Where we have experienced unfaithfulness and failing love in our relationships, a barrier of fear is formed that hinders us from seeing God's true faithfulness and unfailing love. Therefore the Lord encouraged us to seek His glory in order to remove any hindrances of fear so that we will walk in confidence and boldness in His love and faithfulness. We praise God for the many lives that were touched and healed as we encountered God's love and faithfulness! Hallelujah!

We are very pleased and blessed to have two students from Kingdom Faith College (Horsham, England) with us. They are a great team supporting the exisiting ministry of KLF and also being part of some other exciting ventures that have included street evangelism, prayer walking in Frankfurt, helping the poor and needy, and simply being a great blessing to us and this city! We praise God for Kingdom Faith College and the excellent work they are doing.

This week part of our worship team joined Roy Fields for 2 meetings held at CZF, organised by Healing rooms Deutschland e.V. The meetings were very well attended and many were blessed by God's presence and power.

This Sunday @ 3pm we will be meeting in the Evangelisch Freikirchliche Gemeinde Frankfurt-Nordwest for another New Life Celebration! Please click here for more info...

Exciting upcoming events and important dates:

5th July: Homeless mission - an opportunity to feed the poor spiritually and physically and to overflow with the love of God.
4th July: International Family Day - a fun day out for everyone on the Lohrberg from 14h00 - 20h00 with food, games, face-painting, entertainment and more!
5th July: New Life Celebration - we will be meeting together and baptising believers at the Baptist church in Eschersheim (Haeberlinstr.3) on that Sunday.
27th July - 10th August: No church meetings - most of KLF will be at Faith Camp in Peterborough, England. More details here...
15th August: Jesus March in Frankfurt - more details here...
21st - 23rd: Prayer Workshop with Les and Dot Mitchell, pastors of Kingdom Faith London @ Treffpunkt Leben.

Quote of the week:

"God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment, because in this world we are like him. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear..." 1 John 4:16-18

Stirring the Spirit of Faith

Glory to God!

The Lord is taking us from glory to glory and He is doing awesome things in us and through us! Yesterday's meeting was very powerful as God spoke to us about how to see His glory. This is what He showed us:

  1. To be saturated with God we need to see His glory.
  2. To see God's glory we only need to believe. John 11:40
  3. To believe God is to trust Him and have faith in Him. John 14:1
  4. Faith is therefore trust.
  5. Trust is something (substance - Heb. 11:1 KJV) that is given to us (2 Peter 1:1) that does not need to be added to but strengthened (Rom. 4:20).
  6. Trust is strengthened as the believer receives revelation from God of His glory (Matt. 16:13-17: His personality, presence and power) by the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 2:10).
  7. Trust that is strengthened by revelation fuels obedience. Isaiah 6:1-8; 2 Cor. 5:11, 14
  8. Revelation stirs the spirit of faith unto obedience. 2 Cor. 4:13

In response to God's Living Word, the church trusted God's word in Luke 11:9-13 and everyone was filled with the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah! We praise God for the healings, the revelation, the infilling, the Glory, the stirring and the abundantly more than we can ask or imagine that He is gracing us with! Glory to the King of kings!

Quote of the week:

"Then Jesus said, 'Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?'" John 11:40

True Revival

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ!

These are awesome times of refreshing! God is revealing Himself to us through spiritual understanding, wisdom and knowledge so that we are filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Hallelujah!

Yesterday the Lord showed us what true revival is and He revealed to us that:

Revival is God saturating His people with Himself.

  • When the Spirit of God drenches man with His presence, power and love; man responds in his spirit, soul (mind, heart and will) and body.
  • Revival is God's connecting heaven and earth.
  • God's people are revived as they release God's Spirit within them to be connected to heaven (Gen. 7:11; Mt 3:13-17; Acts 19:1-6).
  • Faith connects heaven and earth.

Consequently, a revived people overflow with God and reveal His nature and release His power. Hallelujah!

The Lord confirmed His Word yesterday as everyone was drenched in the Holy Spirit and saturated with God! Praise be to our wondeful King who has lavished His love upon us!

Exciting upcoming events and important dates:

14th June & 5th July: Homeless mission - an opportunity to feed the poor spiritually and physically and to overflow with the love of God.
4th July: International Family Day - a fun day out for everyone on the Lohrberg from 14h00 - 20h00 with food, games, face-painting, entertainment and more!

Times of refreshing!

Hallelujah!

These are exciting times! These are indeed "times of refreshing from the Lord!" (Acts 3:19,20)

Last weekend we were privileged and blessed to have Mike and Kay Chance with us for our KLF Training Days. You can listen to 3 sessions here and you can view pictures of the Sunday meeting here. We are excited about building with Mike and Kay as they have had years of experience of building God's Kingdom here in Germany with a faith dynamic that is stirring this nation. The weekend with them was very powerful and we look forward to seeing them again later this year. Our next training days will be on the 22nd and 23rd May with Bengt Wedemalm!

The leadership of KLF attended the Kingdom Faith leaders' conference at the beginning of this week and has returned full of faith and expectation, having received great encouragement through the teaching, the anointing and the presence of God in the meetings! We are blessed to be part of the move of God that is happening through Kingdom Faith and the anointing that is being released through our covenant relationship with KF. Glory to God!

This weekend we are looking forward to being part of the Arise Shine! conference organised by Voice in the city and we expect God to once again bring life-changing revelation and liberating encounters with Him through worship and the teaching of His Word.

On Sunday KLF will not be meeting at TPLF but at the Baptist church in Frankfurt-Eschersheim at 3pm for another exciting New Life Celebration when we will be baptising new believers and celebrating their new lives in Christ! Hallelujah!

Quote of the week:

"Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, and that he may send the Christ, who has been appointed for you - even Jesus." Acts 3:19,20

Check list for effective praying!

Glory to God!

We are so encouraged! Yesterday's meeting was very powerful! The children kicked the worship off by spontaneously chanting, "Jesus, Jesus, King of kings and Lord of lords" and we very quickly moved into a time of powerful worship and declaration of Jesus' victory and power over all the work of the enemy. We sensed God giving us significant breakthrough as we submitted to Him, proclaimed His truth over our lives, and resisted the enemy (James 4:7,8). Hallelujah!

The Lord is teaching us to pray and we're learning to go to new levels in communion with God. Yesterday the Lord gave us a checklist for effective prayer as Alexander Blair shared the following:

As we approach God in prayer we need to ask ourselves certain questions to ensure that there are no hindrances to our prayers being answered:

  1. Do I have unconfessed sin in my life? Psalm 66:18; 2 Sam. 21:1-14; 1 John 1:9
  2. Am I continuing to "practice evil deeds"?
  3. Am I listening for God's correction in my life? Prov.28:9; 1 Sam. 13:1-15
  4. Do I have a clear conscience when asking in prayer? 1 John 3:21; 5:14,15
  5. Am I praying with faith and believing that God will answer my prayer? Mark 11:23,24
  6. Does God's Word abide in me or is God's Word just a visitor? John 15:7; Ps. 37:4
  7. What does my prayer life reveal about my attitude toward God? Do I treat the Lord like a spouse, a mistress or even a concubine?
  8. Am I in right relationship with those around me? John 15:12
  9. Am I walking in forgiveness? Mark 11:25; 2 Cor. 2:10,11
  10. Is there harmony in my marriage? As a husband, am I living with my wife in an understanding way? Am I honouring her? 1 Peter 3:7
  11. Am I praying in the Spirit? Eph.6:18; Jude 20
  12. Have I asked the Holy Spirit to help me with my weakness in praying? Rom. 8:26
  13. Am I yielding to the Holy Spirit?
  14. If I am unsure of God's will in a matter, am I nevertheless committed to God that I want His will done, regardless of what it is? Rom. 8:26-28
  15. Do I always pray in Jesus' name? John 14:13,14; 16:23
  16. Am I praying according to God's will as revealed in His Word or by His Spirit?
  17. Am I asking with correct motives? James 4:3
  18. Is my desire to "seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness?" Mt. 6:33
  19. Have I shared my blessings with those less fortunate than I am or am I being stingy? Prov.21:13

We are excited to have Suzette Hattingh minister to us this Sunday and we are looking forward to having Mike and Kay Chance with us from the 20 - 22 March for our KLF Training Days. Preparations for this year's Faith Camp are also being made and we are working toward getting all of KLF to attend this dynamic week in August in Peterborough, England!

Quote of the week:

Faith - the substance of prayer!

Hallelujah!

We are excited! The Lord is teaching us to pray and we're already seeing wonderful results! Glory to God. We are increasingly experiencing the weight of His glory and yesterday two people testified to having being healed during the meeting! Faith is growing and we're expecting the Lord to do even more signs, wonders and miracles this year! Hallelujah!

Yesterday the Lord spoke to us about the substance of prayer - FAITH. Looking at the examples of Abraham (Gen.18:20-33), Moses (Ex.32:7-14) and the woman who suffered from bleeding (Mark 5:24-34), the Lord showed us how Abraham trusted in God and appealed to His nature; Moses trusted in God and appealed to God's promises and the woman trusted in Jesus and believed in His will to heal her. The Lord then showed us how both Abraham and Noah trusted in God despite the natural circumstances (Rom.4:17-24; Gen.6). Therefore,

Faith is acting upon our trust in God and our knowledge of His purposes despite the circumstances!

We praise God for the healings, for spiritual understanding and for the faith that connects heaven and earth! Hallelujah!

Quote of the week:

"...without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." Hebrews 11:6

Faith expressed through love

Glory to God!

These are exciting times! The Lord is teaching us and showing us how to be the spiritual Body He has redeemed us to be. Consequently we are being challenged to maintain the spiritual unity Jesus accomplished through the cross (Eph. 2:11-18) by making every effort to always be at peace with one another (Eph. 4:3) and to truly love one another with God's love (Agape - Phil. 2:1-5). This applies to our individual lives but is highlighted when we meet together and have the opportunity to manifest spiritual union in the way we relate to one another and worship together.

The Lord is showing us very practically how to exercise spiritual unity and last Tuesday at our weekly prayer meeting, the Lord showed us how to pray together with one accord (Acts 1:14). We learned that to pray in spiritual unity and in one accord we must:

  1. Engage - "to pray" is a verb and means that everyone participates
  2. Listen - everyone must listen to the Holy Spirit, the leader of the meeting and to one another (James 1:19)
  3. Submit - we must submit to the Holy Spirit, the leader of the meeting and to one another (Rom. 13:1; heb. 13:17; Eph. 5:211-6:9; Phil. 2:2-4)
  4. Be one in purpose - we must agree and target our prayers (Phil. 2:2; Mat. 18:19,20)
  5. Join in the rhythm of the Spirit in the meeting and deny self
  6. Be self-controlled - contributing sensitively and waiting on the Lord (1 Cor. 14:26-32)
  7. Make room for others - giving people room to participate and not hog the prayer time (Phil.2:3,4; Rom. 12:10,13)

As we applied these principles to our meeting, we entered into an amazingly powerful time of prayer as we worshipped, proclaimed, declared, destroyed, established, decreed and joined together as one, revealing the manifold wisdom of God (Eph. 3:10-12)! Hallelujah!

Yesterday the Lord spoke to us about the relationship between spiritual love and sincere faith, showing us the following:

  1. Sincere faith is always accompanied by action. James 2:26
  2. Actions that are motivated by eros love mean nothing! 1 Cor. 13:1-3
  3. The fruit of sincere faith is action motivated by agape love! 1 Cor. 13:4-8; Gal. 5:6; 2 Cor. 5:14
  4. Agape love is a selfless love that initiates and responds according to the Holy Spirit, to reveal God's love for the benefit of others and for the glory of God.
  5. Eros love is a selfish love that initiates and reacts according to selfish desires, that reveal the sinful nature/ flesh for one's own benefit and glory!
  6. Spiritual love is unconditional.
  7. Eros love or soulishness is always conditional.
  8. Choosing to reveal God's love within us by denying the flesh (self-life) manifests the Lord's glory. Ex. 34:6; Heb. 1:3

Agape love is a selfless love that initiates and responds according to the Holy Spirit, to reveal God's love for the benefit of others and for the glory of God

In the evening we had the wonderful opportunity to feed the poor and needy and to put the Word into action and demonstrate agape love. Hallelujah!

Quote of the week:

"If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose." Phil. 2:1,2 (emphasis mine)

A lifestyle of faith

Praise be to the King of kings and Lord of lords!

The Lord is continuing to grace us with His wonderful presence in our meetings and He is speaking very clearly to us about spiritual love (agape). We believe that God is preparing us for greater spiritual breakthrough as we learn to truly love one another and be united in spirit.

Yesterday the Lord showed us the following:

  1. Agape (spiritual love) comes "from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith." 1 Tim. 1:5
  2. Sincere faith means a faith that is genuine, real and without hypocrisy.
  3. Faith is not only hearing the Word (James 1:22) nor is it just believing (James 2:19) and neither is it just confession or proclaiming truth (Luke 6:46).
  4. Sincere faith is always accompanied by action!
  5. Faith is a lifestyle because of God. Rom. 12:1,2
  6. Our faith is tested, tried and tempted continuously. James 1:2
  7. Every test, whether we are confronted by the flesh/ self-centredness (Gal. 5:16-25), the world (1 John 2:15) or the Devil (Matthew 4:1-11) requires a faith response - choosing to God's will or one's own will or the world's way or the Devil's way!
  8. Our lives consist of taking faith initiatives and giving faith responses.
  9. As we are faithful in the small tests, God will entrust us with greater opportunities to do His will and glorify Him! Luke 16:10

Faith is a lifestyle because of God!

We are very excited about new opportunities to serve the poor and needy in Frankfurt and it is wonderful to see the whole Body get involved in some way, demonstrating agape love. We therefore minister to the needy on the first Sunday of every month and on the fifth Sunday (when there is one).

Quote of the week:

"Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors." James 1:2,3 (The Message)

Sowing Spiritual Seed

Glory to God!

Last week the leaders of KLF attended a 3 day leaders conference at Kingdom Faith in Horsham, England. We are blessed to be in covenant relationship with Kingdom Faith and are excited about how God is saying the same things to us as He is saying to them! It is a privilege to be part of KF's apostolic anointing and to be a part of the work that the Lord is doing in them and through them. The leaders conference was a great opportunity to build new relationships as well as strengthen existent ones. The meetings were very powerful as we met with God in worship and through His Word to us. We are on an exciting journey with God and it's wonderful to walk together with KF and be one in spirit and purpose. Hallelujah!

As part of equipping our people to walk in the fullness of God's purposes for their lives, we are thrilled that two of our people will be attending Kingdom Faith's Faith College where they will encounter God in a dynamic and powerful way and be trained to know Him and make Him known!

Yesterday's meeting was awesome! The presence of God was evident the moment we began to "enter in" and the Holy Spirit led us deeper and deeper into the glory and holiness of God. We praise God for His favour upon us and the anointing that is on our worship. Glory to Him!

KLF supports a ministry in India called Hermon Living Water Ministries that is doing a mighty work in India planting new churches, raising up spiritual leaders, building and supporting orphanages and schools and reaching the lost with the Gospel. Yesterday we were privileged to be visited by members of the leaderhip team of HLWM and to have the opportunity to further establish our relationship with them and pray with them. Hallelujah.

The Lord is speaking to us about honouring Him and yesterday He showed the following:

  1. When we overflow with the grace that God has lavished upon us - the gift of Himself to us, we not only reveal Him and thereby honour Him (because we reveal in the natural what we believe we have received in the spiritual), but we sow spiritual seed.
  2. Every person sows seed with their lives that will either be of the flesh, the devil or spiritual seed. Gal. 6:7,8
  3. We reap what we sow. 2 Cor. 9:6-15
  4. When we sow spiritual seed we will receive an abundant harvest of righteousness. 2 Cor. 9:10
  5. When we sow spiritual seed we will receive God's abundance and newness. Prov. 3:9,10
  6. When we sow spiritual seed we live under an open heaven and release heaven on earth. Mal. 3:10-12
  7. When we sow spiritual seed into others, we release the Kingdom of God into their lives that will produce everlasting fruit!
  8. To sow spiritual seed we must die to self and overflow with the Life that the Father has sown into our lives. John 12:23-25

The Lord is saying this to His Body:

My children, because you are enthusiastic (possessed by God) and generous (of noble birth), take initiative and sow spiritual seed willingly, eagerly, sacrificially, suddenly, excellently, and despite the circumstances and receive the blessing that will flow into your life and into the lives of others, thereby honouring Me.

We praise God for His hand upon us and we give Him all the glory for what He is doing in us and through us! Hallelujah!

Quote of the week:

"I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. The man who loves his life will lose it, while the man who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life." John 12:24,25

Honouring God with a Spirit of Generosity

Thanks be to God for the riches of His grace that he has lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding!

This week has been another awesome time with God. He is truly anointing our meetings together whether on the streets of Frankfurt or our midweek meetings. The Lord is moving the Church inside out and yesterday we joined several hundred people to march through Frankfurt and proclaim the name of Jesus. We were privileged to be able to have our worship team kick off the march as they filled the inner city of Frankfurt with songs of proclamation and worship. Hallelujah! Click here for more details..

The Lord is revealing His glory to the world through His Body, the Church!

The Lord is continuing to show us what it means to honour Him and today we looked at 2 Corinthians 8:1-9 and the Lord showed us the following:

The Macedonian churches demonstrated a spirit of generosity by,

  1. Living out of the grace they had received. 8:1; Eph. 1:6-8
  2. Living according to the riches of God's spiritual blessings rather than their circumstances. 8:2
  3. Overflowing with joy and welling up in rich generosity because of God's favour and their identity in Christ (generous means "of noble birth"). 8:2
  4. Living sacrificially by going the extra mile. 8:3
  5. Taking initiative and not waiting for instructions. 8:3
  6. Being desperate to serve. 8:4
  7. By doing the unexpected. 8:5
  8. By completing the task. 8:6,11
  9. By excelling. 8:7
  10. By fixing their eyes on Jesus as their example of ultimate generosity. 8:9; Phil. 2:5-11

We honour God when our lives overflow with the riches of God's grace!

This coming week the KLF leaders will be attending the Kingdom Faith Leadership Conference in Horsham, England.

We are also excited about the upcoming EQUIP seminar on the 11 October when David Rowe will be teaching KLF and guests to encounter God in true worship.

Quote of the week:

"For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich." 2 Cor. 8:9

The Spirit of Faith

Glory to God!

The Lord is continuing to speak to us about living according to what we have received! On Friday, at the men's prayer breakfast, God spoke to the men about walking in their inheritance and yesterday He spoke to KLF about honouring Him by agreeing with what we have received. After an awesome time of worship led by the Holy Spirit, the Lord showed us the following:

  1. We honour God when we reflect in the natural what we believe we have received in the spiritual.
  2. We have received mercy, grace and favour. Therefore we must deny self and live our lives in agreement with what we have received to honour God. Rom.12:1
  3. The words we use reflect what we believe. Luke 6:45
  4. When we agree with God's will and what He has given us, we exercise the spirit of faith. 2 Cor. 4:13-15
  5. We are to be "living agreements"; the "Amen" of what God has spoken and done in Christ Jesus. 2 Cor. 1:20
  6. We are to speak the very words of God. 1 Peter 4:11
  7. Jesus spoke the will of the Father into being and healed the sick, raised the dead, stilled the storm and resisted the devil! Power was released as Jesus agreed with the already revealed will of the Father! John 5:19
  8. Speaking God's will is not a formula - it's not about the words we use. It's about revealing the heart of God as we speak in agreement with His will.
  9. Thanking God is the fruit of the spirit of faith as the believer thanks God for what he has received! Col. 3:15-17
  10. The spirit of faith is also exercised through prophecy.
  11. Prophecy is the revelation of God's heart.
  12. A prophetic people reveal the heart of God in word and deed. 1 Cor. 14:31

We then paired up and prophesied over one another as we simply agreed with the Father and spoke God's truth over one another. People were greatly encouraged and edified (1 Cor. 14:3)! God is showing us that we must begin with what we know in order to enter into the unknown. Hallelujah!

We praise God that we now have a room in which to have regular mid-week meetings in. We will therefore have our church prayer meeting on Tuesdays at the IBTC (International Bible Training Centre) at 8pm as well as our new meeting for women that will start at the same venue on Thursdays at 7.30pm!

We are also very excited about the special meetings we are arranging to help people know God and make Him known. These equipping seminars and workshops are called EQUIP and will take place as the Lord leads. Our next EQUIP meeting is on the 11th October and will be led by David Rowe who will teach God's people to encounter God. From the 5th to the 9th of November, Richard Maybery will be visiting Frankfurt and we are also planning another EQUIP meeting, that will be led by Alexander Blair, on Prophetic Evangelism.

We praise God that He is fulfilling His Word to us to establish us this year. We are growing spiritually and numerically and we're excited to be on this awesome journey with Him! Hallelujah!

Quote of the week:

"It is written, 'I believed, therefore I have spoken.' With that same spirit of faith we also believe and therefore speak.." 2 Cor. 4:13

Honouring God

"Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honour and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!"

We've had an awesome week! We're continuing to meet on Tuesday evenings with other believers to worship the Lord and prayer walk on the streets of Frankfurt. We're experiencing an ever increasing stirring in the spirit realm that is both releasing God's presence as well as manifesting resistance which is a clear indication that the Kingdom of God is advancing! Hallelujah!

The Lord's favour is upon the men of KLF as we meet on Fridays for breakfast, encouragement and prayer. God is speaking very clearly to the men and we are sensing the Lord establishing us for greater things to come. We believe that God the Father is raising up sons who will be released to be the spiritual fathers He has called us to be in the family, church, city and nation!

This weekend we were visited by two leaders from Kingdom Faith (Horsham, England) who came to continue to establish our covenant relationship with Kingdom Faith. Pastor Jonathon Dyke and Pastor Gary Rumbold spent time with the leadership of KLF as well as the church to build, encourage and release us into new realms with the Holy Spirit. We are excited about relating to Kingdom Faith and benefiting from what God is doing in His Body in that nation.

Yesterday's meeting was very interesting as we began to explore some of the new things that God was showing us over the weekend. The Lord then spoke to us about what it means to glorify Him and showed us the following:
  1. To glorify God is to honour God and the Lord wants us to be as zealous as He is about His honour! Numbers 25:10-13
  2. To honour God is to reflect in the natural what we believe we have received in the spiritual! Rom. 15:26,27
  3. We cannot change self to become more like God because it has been crucified and is dead! Gal. 2:20
  4. We can only reflect God if we reflect on Him and not on self! 2 Cor. 3:7-18
  5. In order to become a revelation of God, we need a personal, spiritual revelation of Him!

We praise God for continuing to reveal Himself to us through His Spirit and His Word!

Next week KLF will be meeting in the building of the Baptist church in Eschersheim from 3pm - 5pm!

Quote of the week:

"And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit." 2 Cor. 3:18

Dying to self and living to God!

Praise God!

This past week has been awesome! On Tuesday we met with other believers to worship the Lord on the streets of Frankfurt and we are noticing how passers-by are beginning to have an increased interest in what we're doing. People from the streets, who have experienced a touch from God, are bringing friends and family to meet with God! Hallelujah!

On Friday morning the men got together for breakfast, a word of encouragement and prayer. It was a very special time and we're sensing that the Lord is going to use this weekly meeting to do great things with the men of KLF and to influence others for the Kingdom!

Today's meeting was profound as we met with God in worship even before the meeting usually starts! The Lord is continuing to anoint our musicians with new songs and we're excited about how He is blessing us with His presence and glory as we worship Him! Hallelujah!

The Lord spoke to us today about the following:

  1. By God's grace we have received the very gift of God Himself! 2 Cor. 13:5
  2. By God's grace we have received Christ, the wisdom of God and the power of God! 1 Cor.18-24
  3. By God's grace we have become nobility and have received God's wisdom and power to shame the wisdom and the power of the world! 1 Cor. 1:27
  4. It is God's will to glorify His name through us! Ezek.36:22-28

The Lord then showed us that the two main hindrances to seeing God's glory are a wrong understanding of the difference between grace and faith (see last week's word to us) and the flesh or the self life. He then showed us the following:

  1. The flesh cannot glory in God's presence! 1 Cor. 1:28-31
  2. God's glory is revealed through death to self! 2 Cor. 12:9,10
  3. We are to die to self and live to God! Gal.2:20; Phil.1:21; Col.3:3,4; 2 Cor.5:15; Rom. 6:4-10

Everything we do must be motivated by a desire to glorify God and not self.

The Lord then gave us 7 ways to ensure that we remain weak in order to reveal His glory! We must:

  1. Humble ourselves
  2. Check our motivation
  3. Place our confidence in Christ and not in methods or even our faith
  4. Overcome fear by trusting in God rather than in self - fear is the fruit of self-consciousness; boldness is the fruit of God-consciousness!
  5. Risk looking foolish and weak to reveal God's wisdom and power!
  6. Practice "secret obedience"!
  7. Practice pointing to God

We sense that God is preparing KLF for an even greater manifestation of His glory and we are excited that God will confirm His Word to us as we die to self and live for His glory!

Next weekend we will be visited by Jonathon Dyke and Gary Rumbold - two leaders from Kingdom Faith, England.

Quote of the week:

"Do you not realise that Christ Jesus is in you?" 2 Cor. 13:5

By Grace Through Faith!

Glory to the King of Kings!

This past Sunday we resumed our Sunday meetings after a wonderful time in England at Faith Camp. It was an awesome meeting as we met with God and one another. The Lord is teaching us to enter His glory and we’re experiencing His healing and liberating presence! Hallelujah!

God’s Word to us this Sunday was all about grace and the relationship between grace and faith. The Lord is giving us a deeper revelation of grace to encourage us to step out in faith. He showed us the following:
  • The believer has been given the Holy Spirit so that we can understand what God has freely given us. 1 Cor. 2:12
  • Grace is not only God’s unmerited favour but the very gift of Himself to man. Acts 2:33-39; Rom. 8:10,11; Col.2:9; 1 Cor. 1:4; Gal. 2:20,21
  • Jesus, who is full of grace and truth, lives in us! John 1:14,16; Col. 1:27

The Lord then showed us that the problem with most believers is that they confuse grace with faith. Instead of having faith in God’s grace, most Christians try to work at having more faith. However, using the analogy of electricity and a light
switch, we saw that if the electricity represents grace then the switch represents faith. Consequently, the believer must realise that the power is not in the faith but in the grace – faith releases the grace! That is why the apostle Paul writes in Ephesians 2:8 that we have been saved BY grace THROUGH faith!

“And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” 2 Cor. 9:8

Having the revelation that God will make all grace abound to us encourages us to simply step out and release His grace through faith! Once we understand this important truth:

  • It will stop us trying to do what only God can do.
  • It humbles us to realize that our part is only in the releasing and not in the power.
  • It encourages us to step out more to release God’s presence, power and love.
  • It stops us from waiting for what we have already received in Christ and simply getting on with it.

On Sunday evening we had another great opportunity to minister God ‘s love to the poor at the monthly soup kitchen.

This week we’re looking forward to getting together again at our various meetings and particularly getting together with other believers to worship the Lord on the streets of Frankfurt. Hallelujah!

Quote of the week:

“As God’s fellow workers we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain.” 2 Cor. 6:1

Faith Camp '08

Hallelujah!

We've just returned from an awesome week at Faith Camp in Peterborough, England. 27 people from Kingdom Life attended and roughed it out together in tents, through a little rain and lots of wind. It was great to be together and to be part of an amazing time with God. The meetings were terrific with dynamic worship and inspiring preaching. It was truly a time to meet with the Lord with over 5000 other people in many different ways. What is really exciting is the fact that the week was a continuation of what God has been saying to us in these past weeks. Following from His Word to us concerning living to know Him and make Him known, the Lord spoke to us last week about Christ in us and how to manifest His glory in our lives. Through powerful and very practical teaching we learned how to demonstrate God's glory by healing the sick and living according to the Holy Spirit. As we responded to God's Word to us, we saw many people receive physical healing as the Lord glorified Himself! The Father took us from, Revelation to Release to Revival. Hallelujah!

To find out more about what we got up to at Faith Camp check out the Kingdom Faith Blogs and watch video clips of reports of the week.

To Know And To Make Known!

Glory to the God of all creation!

We praise God for the "depth of insight" He is giving us into the "unsearchable riches of Christ" by His Spirit (Eph. 3:4,5,8). God is giving us revelation so that we become a revelation to the world!

Yesterday the Lord showed us the following:

  1. There are two worlds - the physical and the spiritual; the natural and the supernatural; the visible and the invisible.
  2. The physical, natural, visible world proceeds from the spiritual, supernatural, invisible. Gen.1:1
  3. The physical, natural, visible points to the spiritual, supernatural, invisible! Rom. 1:20

"For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities - his eternal power and divine nature - have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse." Rom. 1:20

  1. God not only revealed His supernatural being through creation but also through His Son, who is the exact representation of God's invisible being. Col. 1:15-20; Heb. 1:3
  2. Jesus came to make the Father known. John 1:14; 14:9-11; 17:6,26
  3. Jesus revealed God's nature - God's love, compassion, kindness, zeal, etc
  4. Jesus revealed God's authority - Jesus taught with authority and exercised God's authority over creation.
  5. Jesus revealed God's power - Jesus healed the sick and raised the dead.

The Lord then showed us that,

  1. Just as Jesus knew the Father and came to make Him known, we are called to know God and make Him known!
  2. God revealed Himself to Paul so that Paul would make Him known. Eph. 3:2-11
  3. God reveals Himself to the Church by His Spirit so that the Church will make Him known to all creation - both seen and unseen! Eph. 3:10
  4. God has predestined the believer to be conformed to the image of His Son who is the exact representation of the invisible God! Rom. 8:29,30
  5. The believer is called to make God's nature known. Eph. 4:22,23; Col. 3:9
  6. The believer is called to make God's authority known. Col. 2:9
  7. The believer is called to make God's power known. Eph.2:10; John 15

As the believer comes to know God through spiritual revelation, His life will point to God as He makes God's nature, authority and power known to the world.

We live to know and to make known!

The podcast for yesterday's sermon will be available in the first week of August.

Next weekend most of Kingdom Life will be attending Faith Camp in Peterborough, England. It will be a dynamic time of meeting with God and spending valuable time together. KLF will therefore not be meeting on the 27 July and the 3 August and will resume meetings on the 10 August!

Why Are We Sitting Here?

Glory to God!

Last week was amazing! We joined up with several others to worship and prayer walk in the centre of Frankfurt's darkest area to invite God's presence, power and love to invade the kingdom of darkness and set the captives free. We praise God for the people who are drawn to us as we worship our King and for the opportunities to speak to them about our Saviour and pray for them!

Last week was our student placements' final week and we have been richly blessed with their anointing and encouragement as they led various meetings and participated in the life of Kingdom Life. We are very grateful to Kingdom Faith College for sending them to us and supporting us in this way. We praise God for our covenant relationship!

Sunday's meeting was awesome once again and the Lord spoke to us about our needing to have the same attitude as the lepers in 2 Kings 7. He showed us that,

  1. The lepers were not prepared to stay where they were and chose to arise. Similarly the Church is called to wake up from its spiritual slumber and be obedient to her commission to arise and shine! Eph. 5:14; Is.60:1
  2. The lepers were prepared to take a risk. Similarly the Church is called to leave her comfort and risk for God's glory and for the sake of the lost!
  3. The lepers didn't keep the plunder for themselves but told the hungry about the abundance they had received! Similarly the Church is called to share what she has been given and not selfishly hoard the blessings and God's abundant spiritual provision!

The heavenly "alarm clock" has sounded and it is time for the Church to rise up and reveal the glory of God and share His glory with the lost!

We are really looking forward to Faith Camp in Peterborough, England from 26 July - 2 August. It will be a refreshing time for all of us and an awesome opportunity to be spiritually tanked up and enjoy true fellowship as we camp together for a week.

Kingdom Life will therefore not be meeting from 21 July - 4 August! We will resume meetings on Sunday 10 August, filled and empowered for the next season with God! Hallelujah!

The substance of faith

Glory to the Author and Perfecter of our faith - our Lord Jesus Christ!

Yesterday we had another awesome time in God's presence. The Lord is taking us deeper into the River of Revival and teaching us to worship out of our depths as we give room for the Holy Spirit to usher us into a place of even greater intimacy with God. Thank you Lord!

The Lord is continuing to speak to us about suffering and yesterday He showed us the following:

  1. The believer's faith is a substance - it is the present reality of a future hope. Hebrews 11:1
  2. The believer's faith is just as much the revelation of a future glory as Jesus is the revelation of the Father. Hebrews 1:3

To hold onto this faith is to remain in Christ which means:

  1. The believer must live a holy life - set apart and pure. 1 Peter 1:15,16
  2. The believer must seek peace and pursue it. 1 Peter 3:11
  3. The believer must maintain a clear conscience. 1 Peter 3:16, 21
  4. The believer must entrust himself to God and maintain God-consciousness. 1 Peter 2:19,23; 4:2,19
  5. The believer must continually abide in the Living Hope and have his eyes fixed on the future hope of glory. 1 Peter 1:3,7,11; 4:13,14; 5:1,4,10

As we seek to remain in Christ, we must choose to bear the consequences of living in Him and for Him for the sake of others and for the glory of God - this is true suffering that glorifies God.

We praise God for His revelation to us and for encouraging us to realise who we are in Him as we reveal His glory through obedience and reverent submission to Him. Hallelujah!

We praise God for another wonderful time with the homeless and needy yesterday evening. The Spirit of God was present and consequently we are seeing more antagonism but also more receptivity to God's love and power. Interestingly there are an increasing number of English-speaking people attending.....

Covenant anointing!

Glory to God!

This past week was very exciting! Apart from a number of us having the opportunity to attend a conference with Bill Johnson and Kathryn Scott we were very pleased to have Jonathon Dyke and Wes Sternberg visit us from Kingdom Faith (Horsham, England) to encourage us and to get a taste of what God is doing with Kingdom Life. We have always had a kindred spirit and the team's visit established our covenant relationship with Kingdom Faith Church and our desire to see God's Kingdom manifested in our nations. The KF team met with various groups from KLF and certainly blessed us and encouraged us with powerful teaching and prophecy. We praise God for the covenant relationship we have with Kingdom Faith and the anointing that binds us together.

Sunday's meeting was very dynamic as the Lord spoke to us through Jonathon about God's favour upon the believer and how we can truly always rejoice as we walk by faith, believing in God's will for our lives.

The Lord also spoke to us about the breaker anointing from Luke 16:16 as well as Micah 2:13 where the Lord says,
"One who breaks open the way will go up before them;
they will break through the gate and go out.
Their king will pass through before them,
the Lord at their head."
We praise God for the breakthroughs we are having both in our circumstances and in the spiritual realm! Hallelujah!

Making it Happen!

Praise be to God!

What an exciting journey we're having with our glorious King! This past week's meetings have been amazing! In particular IMPACT! had an awesome time on Friday evening as we continued to learn the difference between the natural man, the spiritual man and the wordly or fleshly man. We spent time proclaiming God's truth over our lives and each others' lives - a very powerful exercise indeed! Looking at Ephesians 5:15-20 we also learned the following:

  1. Living wisely is living a life according to the will of God and not our own will - heavenly wisdom vs earthly wisdom (5:15-17)
  2. We need to keep on being filled with the Holy Spirit by not giving into the flesh's desires (drunkenness) but keeping our minds fixed on God with psalms, hymns, spiritual songs, and music in our hearts as well as giving thanks to God. All these will keep us God-conscious and flowing in the Holy Spirit rather than self-conscious and led by the natural man that quenches the Holy Spirit! (5:18-20)

This is awesome truth that our young adults are already grasping! Hallelujah! These youngsters are learning to move with the Holy Spirit and are also using their gifts in music to produce their own worship songs with their band called THE UPSTREAM! Soon we'll have a sample of their songs on our website!

We are preparing a seminar/workshop on PROPHECY as well as a workshop for children on HEARING THE VOICE OF GOD that will take place on the 20 October. There is such an anointing already on the preparation that we know it's going to be a wonderful and Spirit-filled day! We will soon have more details about this on the upcoming events section of the web.

We are excited about the upcoming conference with Bill Johnson to be held in Speyer as well as meeting with Jonathon Dyke and Wes Sternberg from Kingdom Faith (Horsham, England) over the weekend of the 5-7 October. Kingdom Life is a covenant member of Kingdom Faith.

Yesterday's church meeting was truly dynamic once again! The worship is literally out of this world! We are experiencing God's presence and power as we join with the heavenly realm in singing songs of deliverance (Psalm 32:7) and worshipping the Lord in spirit and truth. There's an overwhelming sense that our worship is penetrating the kingdom of darkness and bringing forth sounds of heaven over the city of Frankfurt! The manifestation of the power of praise is evidenced in physical healings taking place during our meetings! Hallelujah!

God's word to us yesterday concerned entering His rest (Hebrews 3,4) and we learned the following:

  1. We need to make every effort to enter God's rest (4:11)
  2. Entering God's rest means ceasing to work and knowing that the work has been accomplished (4:10)
  3. God's rest applies to salvation (not trying to earn one's salvation through works - Rom. 5:1,2), sanctification (not trying to live a pure life through the natural man - an attempt that will continue to fail - Romans 7, but resting in the fact that the Holy Spirit is renewing us - 2 Cor. 4:16), and service (not trying to do the works of Jesus in our own strength but working with the Holy Spirit - Col. 1:29; Gal. 3:5).
  4. We must enter God's rest by faith (3:19; 4:2,3)
  5. We must choose to believe today! (3:7, 15; 4:7)
The Lord also gave us a very encouraging and powerful prophetic word. He showed us that we as His people, filled with Him as the habitation of God, are carriers of HOLY FIRE and that Kingdom Life, by the the Holy Spirit, will not only "fan into flame" others that accompany us on this amazing journey but we will also equip the saints to bring revival wherever they have come from! The Lord showed us that we are not only a match stick but also a match box so that God will use us to not only impart fire but also impart the means for people to ignite revival fire! Hallelujah! The Lord is showing us how to make it happen!

Making it happen means entering God's rest by faith and releasing salvation, sanctification and service by the power of the Holy Spirit!

Quote of the week:

"Who dares to believe God? Who dares to claim his rights? What are your rights? 'Now we are children of God.' This is a position of absolute rest, a position of faith. It is a place of perfect trust and perfect habitation where there are no disturbances. You experience peace like a river. Look at the face of God. Hallelujah!" Smith Wigglesworth

Faith!

Praise God!

This past week has been another week of fresh revelation and impartation. Hallelujah! On Tuesday morning at McPrayer, the Lord spoke to us about how important it is to Him that we recognise and declare that He alone is the Creator of Heaven and Earth. Revelation 4:11 says,

"You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honour and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being." (emphasis mine)
The Lord showed us how this throws a lot of light on man's sinful desire to explain creation through natural means (evolution) and satan's desire to detract from the glory that only belongs to God, as Lord and Creator!
"For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities - his eternal power and divine nature - have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse. For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened." Romans 1:20,21
Tuesday's prayer meeting was very powerful once again and the women had a great meeting at Starbucks on Wednesday as well.
On Friday evening Impact! met for an exciting time exploring the difference between the spirit, soul and body as well as the difference between "the natural person", the "spiritual person" and the "fleshly person."
Yesterday's meeting was awesome once again! The Lord is encouraging us to understand and grasp that this is the "year of jubilee" and that it is time for us as His people to reclaim that which has been stolen from us!
Our times of worship in song are "deepening" every week as the Lord is leading us into spontaneous new songs by His Spirit. I praise God for the anointing upon our musicians and how is leading us deeper and deeper into the spiritual realm through our worship!
The Lord is speaking to us about faith and yesterday we saw in the letter to the Hebrews that:
Faith is sure and certain. (11:1)
Without faith we cannot please God. (11:6)
We must believe that God exists. (11:6)
We must believe that He rewards. (11:6)
The Lord is also showing us the difference between natural "faith" that is based on experience and spiritual faith that is based on who God is and what God says. Further we saw that Jesus demonstrated perfect faith. Looking at John 11 we saw how Jesus would explore the will of the Father (11:4), exclaim the will of the Father (11:4,11,23), execute the will of the Father (11:39, 43) and expect the Father to act (11:41,42).
As we begin to exercise true spiritual faith we will see God's glory (John 11:40)!
