Encountering the Father

Praise be to God!

Every week the Lord is revealing a different aspect of His glory to us and yesterday the Father began to reveal more and more of His love for us in our worship of Him and through His Word to us. This is what He showed us:

  1. The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord was upon Jesus. Is. 61:1; Luke 4:18
  2. Jesus was baptised in order to fulfill all righteousness. Mat. 3:15
  3. As Jesus came out of the waters of baptism, the Spirit of God came upon Him and remained on Him. Mark 1:10; John 1:33
  4. When the Spirit of the Father rested on His Son, the Father spoke His approval and love over His Son. Mark 1:11
  5. Jesus had revelation of the Father's love before He began His ministry - the work of the Father. Luke 3:23
  6. The uponness of the Spirit is the seal of the Father's approval. John 6:27
  7. The believer is baptised into Christ and made one with Him. 1 Cor. 12:13; Rom. 6; Phil. 2:1
  8. Through the believer's union with Christ, s/he is made righteous and therefore fulfills all righteousness - the believer is made right with God through Christ. 2 Cor. 5:21
  9. Since the believer is one with Christ, the Spirit of the Sovereign Lord rests on the believer as a seal of the Father's approval. 2 Cor. 1:21,22; Rev. 14:1
  10. The Father seals His children with His love before they do anything - it is by grace that we are made one with Jesus and are sealed with the Father's love. Eph. 2:8

After receiving this awesome revelation from God's Word, we spent time in the Father's presence, being anointed with oil as a symbol of the Father's seal of approval and receiving an outpouring of His love. Hallelujah!

Quote of the week:

"He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come." 2 Cor. 1:21,22

KLF Training Days

"To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honour and glory and power for ever and ever!" Rev. 5:13

This past weekend KLF had the privilege of having Mike and Kay Chance as guest speakers at our KLF Training Days. These Training Days are designed to equip the saints by being anchored in God's Truth! Over 3 days we explored the Book of Revelation and received insight into God's plan for these Last Days and what is to come. Mike and Kay are anointed teachers of God's Truth and are instrumental in bringing God's Word to the Body of Christ both in Germany and in England where they are regular speakers at Kingdom Faith College in Horsham. We are excited about the Christ-exalting message they brought this weekend that has led us into a greater revelation of Christ's majesty and authority! The teaching sessions will be available here...

Yesterday evening we had another opportunity to share God's love with the homeless and needy at our monthly homeless mission. It is always exciting to bring the lost into God's presence and watch the Holy Spirit do His work amongst them. We are seeing more and more people begin to trust us and give us permission to speak into their lives to bring healing and hope in often desperate situations. Glory to God!

Quote of the week:

"Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean was given her to wear." Rev. 19:6-8

Stewards of the Divine

Glory to God!

These are exciting times! God is preparing Kingdom Life and the Church in Frankfurt for His work by getting us ready. The Lord's revelation to us always becomes a responsibility for the Church and the Lord showed us yesterday how we are stewards of the Divine!

"..men ought to regard us a servants of Christ and as those entrusted with the secret things of God. Now it is required that those who have been given a trust must prove faithful." 1 Cor. 4:1,2

Looking at Matthew 25:1-13 the Lord revealed the following to us:

  1. The Church has the responsibility to be ready for Christ's return. Matthew 25:10
  2. The Church is ready when believers remain in the fullness of the Anointing. Matthew 25:4; 1 John 2:20,27
  3. The Church is ready when believers live in "times of refreshing" and are revived daily by the Holy Spirit. Acts 3:19,20; Eph. 5:18; John 15:4; Matthew 6:11

We then looked at Matthew 25:14-30 and learned the following:

  1. The Church has the responsibility to be faithful with what she has received. 1 Cor. 4:1,2; Matthew 25:21,23,29
  2. The Church must not hide the Anointing! Matthew 25:18
  3. The Lord entrusts His gifts to believers according to their ability. Matthew 25:15
  4. The Church has been entrusted with the Divine and is responsible to be faithful in stewarding what she has received. Matthew 25:14
  5. The Church is to put the Anointing "to work" and not keep the Anointing hidden. Matthew 25:16
  6. When the Church is a faithful steward of the Divine, the Lord will release an even greater measure of His gifts! Matthew 25:29

Having been regenerated, the believer has received the Anointing of which s/he is to be a faithful steward by remaining in the Anointing, by realising the Anointing by faith, by revelaing the Anointing through obedience and releasing the Anointing by doing the works of Jesus in His power and authority!

We praise God for giving us His Anointing so that we are stewards of the Divine and entrusted with His presence, power and love! Hallelujah!

Yesterday evening we had another wonderful opportunity to be good stewards of the Divine as we ministered to the poor and homeless. Glory to God!

We are excited about the way God is preparing us spiritually and physically for a greater outpouring of His presence, power and love. He is adding to our number and creating in us a God-shaped capacity for His work.

Quote of the week:

"His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature.." 2 Peter 1:3,4 (emphasis mine)

The right and the responsibility to pray

Praise be to God!

It's been another exciting week! As the Lord teaches us about prayer and we apply His Word to our lives, we are seeing a greater desire and fervency to pray both individually and corporately. The spirit of prayer and the dynamic of prayer is increasing and we are seeing the fruit of our prayers already! God has spoken to us about 2009 being a year of breakthrough and fruitfulness and as we pray God's way, we "will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living" (Psalm 27:13)!

On Saturday our worship team was invited to be part of the Arise Shine conference, organised by Voice in the city with Gayle Claxton and Suzette Hattingh. We praise God for the way He is bringing the Body of Christ together and for the spirit of unity that is developing in Frankfurt amongst the churches. We believe that God will use these Arise Shine conferences to bring the Body together and equip the Church to make a larger impact on Frankfurt! Hallelujah!

Yesterday three people covenanted with KLF to:

  • Establish our covenant unity with Christ and one another
  • Establish God's call on our lives to be part of His local Body
  • Establish our commitment to one another to live in fellowship (Koinonia)
  • Express our agreement of our values, beliefs and the vision of KLF
  • Express our unity in passion for what God is doing in and through KLF
  • Express our unity of DNA
  • Exercise our unity by serving one another with one's time, energy and resources

We are excited about how God is bringing people to us who are devoted to the Lord and to His local church to see Him glorified and to further God's Kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven!

Yesterday theLord spoke to us about the right and the responsibility to pray! He showed us that as believers we have:

  1. The right to become children of God (John 1:12)
  2. The right to call God, "Abba" Father (Rom. 8:14-16)
  3. Full rights as sons and daughters of God (Gal.3:26-4:7)
  4. The right to receive our inheritance because we are heirs (Luke 15:12; 31)
  5. The right to pray (Matt.6:9; Heb. 10:19-22)

The Lord then showed us that we are anointed to be a royal priesthood (Ex.19:4-6; 1 Peter 2:9,10; Rev.5:10) with the priestly responsibility:

  1. To raise God's name up in worship - spirit of worship (1 Peter 2:9; John 4:21-24; Heb.9:9;10:1)
  2. To represent man to God - spirit of intercession (Heb.7:25; Rom.8:26,27)
  3. To reconcile man to God - ministry of reconciliation (John 16:8-11; 2 Cor. 5:18-21)
  4. To reveal God to man - ministers of the Spirit (Rom.15:16; 2 Cor.3:4-6)

God has anointed us to be His children with the right to pray and He has anointed us to be priests of the Kingdom with the responsibility to pray!

In response to God's Word to us we anointed every believer with oil to establish the anointing we have received as children of God and as priests of the Kingdom to pray heaven on earth!

We are devoted to prayer and we have started a pre-meeting prayer time that takes place every Sunday before the meeting and we are setting up intercessor cards for the Body to be purposefully active in prayer.

Quote of the week:

"..you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light." 1 Peter 2:9

Impartation

Glory to the living God!

Yesterday was awesome! We came together hungry and expectantly to our IMPARTATION meeting, ready to receive the fire of God. Mark Stibbe calls it, "The Father's Impartation for Revival through Evangelism - F.I.R.E!" The Lord is pouring out His Spirit to encourage the Church to reach the lost, the sick and the oppressed with His glory - His presence, power and love!

The Lord showed us yesterday that,

  • God is imparting a spiritual gracing that is releasing the faith that is attracting the glory of the Lord. Romans 1:11; Lev. 9:23
  • Faith is the substance of Heaven that releases God's glory and anointing! Hebrews 11:1,6 (KJV)
  • The Spirit of God is releasing a greater measure of His glory. 2 Cor. 3:18
  • Jesus wants to reveal His glory to us. John 17:24
  • Just as Elisha had to tear his mantle in two to enter into a greater anointing as he clothed himself with Elijah's mantle, Jesus tore the veil for us to enter into The Anointing as we are clothed with Him! 2 Kings 2:12,13
  • To receive this spiriual gracing, God's people must come hungry, empty and weak (not by works but by faith) like jars of clay ready to overflow with the oil of the Spirit into the world. 2 Cor. 4:7; 2 Kings 4:1-7

During a very special time of ministry and impartation everyone received the F.I.R.E of God. Now we are called to walk in the anointing and to "part the waters" (2 Kings 2:14), i.e. release the faith that attracts the glory of God and brings Heaven on earth! Hallelujah!

We praise God for His faithfulness; for healing a man who came into the meeting with pain in his leg but left pain-free; for blessing us with His presence, power and love and for His awesome revelation to us! Thank you, Jesus!

Quote of the week:

"Then Jesus said to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so I send you. And when he had said this, he breathed on them and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost." John 20:21,22 (emphasis mine)

Stepping into the River!

Praise God!

The Lord is speaking very clearly to us about laying hold of what He has done for us and has made available to His children. Following on from the word God gave us the previous Sunday concerning the breaker anointing, there was a definite sense at our prayer meeting on Tuesday that the Lord wants us to take hold of His provision and bring heaven on earth!

We are very excited about what God is doing with our youth. He is releasing His creativity in them and they are beginning to discover the anointing in each of them to do abundantly more than they could possibly imagine. The Lord is teaching these young adults to truly be impactors as they submit to the Holy Spirit's leading in all situations of life to influence rather than be influenced. God is equipping them with spiritual revelation and faith to become the change agents the Lord is calling this generation to be! Hallelujah!

Yesterday's meeting was awesome. God is speaking to us about the River of Revival and He is showing us how to step in. Looking at Ezekiel 47, we saw that the river of life flows from the sanctuary in the Temple into the world to bring life wherever it flows. Likewise the Holy Spirit wants to flow from the sanctuary of the believer's spirit through the soul and body to touch the world with life (1 Cor.3:16; John 7:37-39). We are learning that the Holy Spirit wants to transform our souls (mind, will and emotions) to be conformed to His mind, His will and His heart and that sanctification is the process by which we increasingly lay down self (the soul and body) in order to submit to the work of the Holy Spirit. The description of Ezekiel being led deeper and deeper into the water is a graphic demonstration of the believer's spiritual growth as he submits himself increasingly to the Spirit so that eventually he is completely immersed in the flow of the Spirit to bring life to the world. Glory to God! We praise God that we can enter His rest by faith (Heb. 4:3) and depend on Him to save us, to sanctify us and to empower us to serve.

Last night we teamed up with the guys from Treffpunkt Leben to feed the poor with physical and spiritual food. It is becoming increasingly clear that we need to find another location in order to cater for the amount of people that are coming. It's also on our hearts to disciple those who come to Christ so we're looking for a facility that will provide us with the space to meet these needs.

We praise God for His favour upon us. He is growing us spiritually and numerically and we are already seeing the fruit of what God is doing in us. Our people are speaking to, and praying with, people on the streets, in restaurants, in the workplace, at school and everywhere else the Lord prompts us. People are risking for His glory and are excited about seeing the River of Revival flow in them and through them to bring life to the lost, the sick and the oppressed. Glory to God!

Quote of the week:

"Our rest lies in looking to the Lord, not to ourselves. In the degree that we look off unto Him to that degree are we delivered from self. We rest on the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ, not on our own shifting experience. True spiritual life depends not on probing our feelings and thoughts from dawn to dusk but on 'looking off' to the Saviour!" Watchman Nee

Covenant anointing!

Glory to God!

This past week was very exciting! Apart from a number of us having the opportunity to attend a conference with Bill Johnson and Kathryn Scott we were very pleased to have Jonathon Dyke and Wes Sternberg visit us from Kingdom Faith (Horsham, England) to encourage us and to get a taste of what God is doing with Kingdom Life. We have always had a kindred spirit and the team's visit established our covenant relationship with Kingdom Faith Church and our desire to see God's Kingdom manifested in our nations. The KF team met with various groups from KLF and certainly blessed us and encouraged us with powerful teaching and prophecy. We praise God for the covenant relationship we have with Kingdom Faith and the anointing that binds us together.

Sunday's meeting was very dynamic as the Lord spoke to us through Jonathon about God's favour upon the believer and how we can truly always rejoice as we walk by faith, believing in God's will for our lives.

The Lord also spoke to us about the breaker anointing from Luke 16:16 as well as Micah 2:13 where the Lord says,
"One who breaks open the way will go up before them;
they will break through the gate and go out.
Their king will pass through before them,
the Lord at their head."
We praise God for the breakthroughs we are having both in our circumstances and in the spiritual realm! Hallelujah!
